Meet and Greet Part Deux: The Socialing
The new people will find themselves ushered out of Obs Deck, so it can be shot down to the planet again, to pick the crew up. Eventually, the crew members on the mission are brought back up, and the doors open to let the two groups meet.
The newbies are likely not expecting their new crew-mates to come back bearing presents--which some of them are.
[ooc: This time anyone can post in. REMEMBER TO TAG OTHER PEOPLE, THO. This is set after the mission so mission peoples can meet the newbies. Latecomer newbies, if you want, you can just tag your guys into this one to make things easier.]

That mission turned out to be rather enjoyable, actually. All's well that ends well, right? They'd brought cheer back to people, and you couldn't ask for more than that.
She stepped out into the Obs Deck.

And then, she spotted her.
She recognized that face anywhere. She couldn't... wouldn't... hold back from what she was going to say next.
"NANOHA-MAMA!"

Nanoha started frantically pushing her way through the crowd, looking around, trying to find her, trying to find that head of blonde hair and those mismatched eyes, hoping against hope that it wasn't a dream and that she wasn't imagining this, that it was her, and her breath was caught in her throat.

It was still undeniably her daughter. And Nanoha now barreled through the crowd, shoving people out of her way impolitely. "V-Vivio!"
She fell to her knees in front of the girl, pulling her into as tight of a hug as she could possibly have managed, all but clinging to her as though she was afraid she would vanish.

"It's you... it's really you, Vivio... I'm here, okay? D-don't worry."
no subject
It didn't matter, not here, not now. Right now, in her arms, was her mother. And right now, even with Sacred Heart wanting to join in on the family moment, Vivio didn't want to pull away.
"Nanoha-mama... you're here... you're really here...!" As she said that, tears rolled down her eyes, tears of joy and relief.

Fate...! Fate had to know. Nanoha quickly focused - somehow - on opening her heart to the other girl, her mental voice tinged with weary relief and desperate joy. Fate-chan... c-come here, quickly! Vivio, she's--!"
no subject
She had found them.
Seeing Vivio there, clinging to Nanoha as they both cried, was enough to bring tears to Fate's own eyes. With a choked sob she dropped to her knees, pulling them both into a tight hug.
"V-Vivio... Oh, thank goodness you're okay..."
no subject
"Nanoha-mama... Fate-mama...!" Vivio cried out. "I'm so glad you're here! I was worried that... that..." she couldn't finish it. All she could do is keep clinging to her parents and hope nothing would separate her from them.
no subject
"It doesn't matter if we were worried--" she sniffed, smiling through her tears, beaming at the two of them. "We're here now, okay? And nothing's going to change that."
She squeezed a little bit tighter.
no subject
"The only thing that matters now is that we're all safe, and together."

The Device waved at Vivio's parents. It knew it didn't want to break up the family reunion, but it wanted to acknowledge it was watching over Vivio as well.

"Now, it isn't much, but, Merry Christmas, Nan." Static smiled.
no subject
"R-really? You know, you... didn't have to get me a present, right?"
no subject
He spotted her a quick thumbs up and then was back into the air, his bag of presents weighting just a little less on his shoulders.
Sure, the gift was a pretty cheap aviation compass, and it'd probably be useless on the ship, but it was the thought that counted, right? The note probably helped save it; 'Never fly so high that you loose sight of the ground, So fast you lose the sound, or so far that you can't turn around.'
It was almost a nonsense line, but it's one that Static had always kept in mind on his flights, and she may need for hers.

The last time he had appeared, the Seer's presence exuded feelings of foreboding and power.
Now, however, the massive figure seemed wearied, his shoulders slumped slightly and his normally impassive face haggard.
He stood facing Nanoha, as though he had something he wished to speak with her about.
no subject
There was no way that something could not be wrong with the way he was looking at her.

The daemon is beginning to stir. It will not be long now.
no subject
She swallowed, reaching up to grab Raising Heart. "How much longer do we have?"
no subject
I suspect it will be subtle at first, for that is the way of most daemons. Do not trust your dreams, even the most seemingly benign ones.

I know you have come into command of the mystical contingent of the crew. I suggest redoubling your efforts to prepare them for the ritual.
If you get the chance, I also suggest having someone go down to the possessions lockers and ask Stacy for Unit XXVI. Have them tell her they have my authorization for its use.
no subject
A faint smile. "Thank you for the warning."
