Meet and Greet Part Deux: The Socialing
The new people will find themselves ushered out of Obs Deck, so it can be shot down to the planet again, to pick the crew up. Eventually, the crew members on the mission are brought back up, and the doors open to let the two groups meet.
The newbies are likely not expecting their new crew-mates to come back bearing presents--which some of them are.
[ooc: This time anyone can post in. REMEMBER TO TAG OTHER PEOPLE, THO. This is set after the mission so mission peoples can meet the newbies. Latecomer newbies, if you want, you can just tag your guys into this one to make things easier.]

But, similar to his cheery friend, Aeneas had opted to wear a small Santa hat and a wreath of bells along his unburned side, and was looking extremely joyful despite his obvious pain. For the first time in nearly a month, the creature knew what it felt like to be truly happy. Hell, he’d just saved an entire planet from the pit of isolation and despondency at the hands of bloodthirsty robots and pointy-eared humans! How could Aeneas not be happy?
Although, taking a break was also nice. The creature flopped down on the squishy floor next to Matt, purring deeply as he tended to his wounds.

Reaching down, his hand glowed with warm pink light as he let some of his own healing magic begin to wash over Aeneas. "Thanks for helping me out. It meant a whole lot."

The creature busied himself with these thoughts mainly to keep his mind off the fact that he was currently pulling out bits of sugar and peppermint candy out of his skin. ”It could be a lot worse,” Aeneas tried to convince himself half-heartedly, ”Besides, it gives us a reason to go visit Medbay. Haven’t looked around there much.”
But then again, perhaps that wouldn’t be an issue any longer.
Aeneas instinctively flinched as the pink tendrils of magic flowed through his open wounds. Not that it was painful or frightening—just…weird. Eventually the alien was unable to keep watching the bizarre energy fix his injuries, so he abruptly shifted his gaze at the floor.
“…Matt, I owe you an apology.”

“I…I didn’t believe you earlier,” the alien admitted hesitantly, averting his gaze out of embarrassment this time instead of discomfort, “You know. About…this ‘magic’ concept.”
He watched as a pink tendril arched over his chest and sealed up a laceration at the base of his neck.
“…Clearly it was I who was ignorant, not yourself. I feel bad for having not trusted your word.”

He smiled at his friend as he continued to heal and treat his wounds. "Merry Christmas Aeneas. This has been the most fun I've had in ages."

Then he lay his torso on the ground and closed his eyes.
“…Would it have been as fun without the robot attack?” Aeneas chuckled with a slight ruffling of his feathers after the pause.

"But despite this? I think this was one of the best holidays I've had yet, spending time with friends."
