Meet and Greet Part Deux: The Socialing
The new people will find themselves ushered out of Obs Deck, so it can be shot down to the planet again, to pick the crew up. Eventually, the crew members on the mission are brought back up, and the doors open to let the two groups meet.
The newbies are likely not expecting their new crew-mates to come back bearing presents--which some of them are.

extremelyon edge at seeing such a sight. It was a new face, so he figured that Kang was one of the new folk.Still feeling friendly from all the gift giving down on Earth, he let his curiosity give way and approached the draconian.
"Are you new around here?" He studied Kang carefully, not sure whether to completely trust him or not.

He'd seen the recognition in Kang's eyes and decided that Kang was not one to be messed around with. He grinned.
"Where are you from?"

He tried going over planet names he'd heard of from the members of the Atlantis Expedition. Nope, Krynn wasn't familiar to him. "Haven't heard of Krynn. Where is it?"

"The Earth in my universe is more advanced than Sateda. But in my Galaxy, the Wraith would destroy advanced civilisations because they were a threat. Sateda was one of them." Oh no. Ronon's started boasting about Sateda.

"The Wraith?"

"The Wraith," he spat out the word Wraith with disgust, "feed on humans. They go from world to world to cull the humans there. For thousands of years, they culled and enslaved the worlds in my galaxy. And they devastated the ones that were a threat to them; the people that faught them." You do not want to ask this man and a Wraith to be friends. And by the sounds of things, he's getting a little heated over talking about them.

"You fought against them still, didn't you? You don't seem the type to just give up and accept your fate."

He was proud that his home stood up to the Wraith even if it meant the end for them. That's what bravery was on Sateda.

"What happened with the Dark Knights?" Ronon was always up for hearing battle stories.

Shaking his head, he continued. "The Dark Knights, former allies, found out about the females, managed to hole us up in a fort with the bulk of what was left of the race, and tried to kill us all off. We fought the bastards off." Of course, he'd also had to take care of a crazy aurak at the same time, but that wasn't the current focus.

Oh, he would have completely agreed with the tavern and alcohol. And speaking of that... "Is there anything to eat around here that isn't that slop? I'd kill for some real meat and some good ale."

Kang had so far left a good impression in Ronon's mind. "There is real food here, but you have to go to the Lounge to eat it. And even then it's periodic until Stacy's food stores fill up again. Might have happened while we were on the planet." Ronon shrugged. "What most of us have been doing before the real food was going into the Sensoriums to eat. You're really eating the gloop but the Sensoriums turn it into whatever you want to eat. It's great."

"It is bad, huh? You should check out the Sensoriums sometime. It's like an illusion spell and it can make any scenario you want. A lot of people use them for training." The Sensoriums were a good place to hang out.

Ronon let out a yawn - who knew gift giving could be so tiring? "I'm gonna hit the 'showers' and then get some shut eye. We should spar sometime."
