Time for the 'meat' and greet

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies. The mission is still going on, so if your character is offship, they won't be around for this.]

Bobby blinked a bit. "Dead? Harry's still alive too. Think he was going to help his dad out, but you stepped in and stopped him. Or talked him out of it. Don't really know cause I was dealing with being relocated." He shook his head and frowned. "And Normie's got more than just his own superteam. He's got a god, Logan's kid, and the Sentry. He's got basically an army with just a few people. Not to mention his whole HAMMER crew."

"Hold up a sec," Peter folds one arm across his chest and rubs his face with the other, "I'm starting to feel like the . Logan has a kid?! What's the Sentry, and HAMMER? How the hell did Norm find a return ticket from Dante's Inferno and who the hell put him in charge of this boatload of crazy?"

And more importantly, why the hell hadn't Carol told him any of this?

Bobby sighed and suddenly wanted a large chair to sit in. "Yes Logan has a kid. The Sentry is basically a god, he's got the power of a million exploding suns or something, and HAMMER is Norman Osborn's SHIELD. After the Skrull Invasion, Norman was given the keys to the kingdom." He sighed heavily and looked like he was getting a headache. "I got no clue why he's not dead. Heck I don't even know who let him out of jail. I was sure Stark had him tossed in jail, though he might have gotten out during the whole Civil War mess."

If Peter had the faculties to voice his dismay at Norman's survival, they're long gone by the time Bobby has finished his spiel. After everything Norman had put him through, at least he had had some small closure through the deranged business mogul's death. And now it all amounted to nothing. Now that Norman was alive and free, let alone running national security-- all the nightmares come flooding back to Peter.

Stunned, he sinks to his knees, face buried in his hands.

"He can't be... He can't do that."

Bobby had taken to looking around the room for anyone else he knew. But his eyes spun back to Peter when he saw his friend fall to the ground. He dropped next to him and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Hey man.. come on.. you can't.." He shook his head. He couldn't what? Freak out that his ultimate enemy was running the world? "Look from what I understand you Avengers were getting set to bring him down. At least I know Barton was. So maybe when we get everything fixed here, we can all go home and kick some Goblin ass."
