Time for the 'meat' and greet
[NOTE: This takes place DURING the holiday plot. If your character is involved in that, then they're still on the surface and not on the ship at this time.]
The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.
Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings.
There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.
[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies. The mission is still going on, so if your character is offship, they won't be around for this.]

He shook his head, rubbing at the back of his neck. "Not much. Just that we've been Chosen to accomplish a 'great purpose'." Air quotes. Because, seriously. "And to fight something called the Ohm? Nothing I've ever come across in my books or Dad's journal, either. Champions of life or something like that."
Honestly, champion of life was better than what he'd been staring down the barrel of back home. So maybe it wasn't all bad.

Dean glanced away for a moment, thinking of how the hell to even start.
"She didn't tell you why we're fighting the Ohm though right? Or what they're supposed to have did to our worlds?"

Sam's a smart guy. The tumblers got to work and Sam reeled a bit as the numbers added up. "It's gone, isn't it? Home? All the..." He made a motion, sort of meant to include everything ever.
no subject
"That's what she said, yeah. They wiped it out. All of it. She said she tried to save our families, I don't know how many though." It wasn't going to be enough. All those lives they had saved over the years. Gone. Only good part they could say that this one wasn't their fault. Not even his. How the hell could they know about intergalactic aliens getting their kicks from wiping other universes out?"
no subject
He looked around for a chair, suddenly feeling off center. "All that. Everything we went through and...aliens did it." It was almost laughable, if it didn't make Sam want to cry. Or scream.
no subject
"We still don't know. All we got is this Stacy, and some other aliens word it's gone. Not only that, we fry these Ohm? Saying there's a chance we can get back." He wasn't sure if he wanted his memories back of the so called rescue. Part of him was considering it.

He took a breath and let it out slowly, trying to ignore that little bit of almost giddy emotion in his stomach. "I suppose it's not actually worse than facing down Armageddon, is it?" No demons or angels. Nobody trying to take over their bodies to play out the end of the world.
no subject
"Went from saving the world to saving the universe or some universe. Whatever."

He then grinned, "Was pretty badass, especially when Worf let me borrow his phaser."
no subject
And thank GOD he hadn't seen that. Loved his brother and all, but...no. There were some things that man and brother were not meant to have to deal with.

"Just go easy on the where, because man, they're all real. It's not like Gabriel's tv mojo crap. It's really them."
no subject
He blinks at Dean, raising an eyebrow. "TV mojo crap?" Yeeeah. This is going to be interesting. "No, wait. Gabriel? As in the archangel?"
no subject
He then frowned at Sam, and wondered if he hit his head getting out of the pod.
"Yeah, whiny dick of a guy, stuck us in tvland hell. You had herpes, and were the car, how can you not remember that? We thought he was the Trickster?"

Dean stared at him back.
"What's the last thing you remember?"

"Dude, that was a few weeks ago. Damn, she said there wasn't a lot of time, and she had to grab some from different points in time. Guess that's what happened with us."

"Yeah, hey listen, why don't I show you around. We'll stop by the hanger first. Got a surprise."
