Time for the 'meat' and greet

[NOTE: This takes place DURING the holiday plot. If your character is involved in that, then they're still on the surface and not on the ship at this time.]

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies. The mission is still going on, so if your character is offship, they won't be around for this.]

Rein had to laugh at that. "All right desu, I'll forgive you for smoking!"

She still didn't like being called a kid, but she supposed it wouldn't be too difficult to deal with that.

"Alright, lady, so are you sure your other mage is here"

Rein frowned and folded her arms. "I didn't see Hayate though, and I can't seem to get into telepathic contact with her. Which might stand to reason that she's not here..."

The small mage sighed and added, "Hold on, I have a picture!"

Diving into the bag, she came out with a 2 x 4 of Hayate and floated up, handing it to Wolfwood. "If you see someone who looks like this (http://safebooru.donmai.us/post/show/477137/467_-artist-blue_eyes-brown_hair-kneeling-mahou_sh), that's Hayate, my best friend and master."

Wolfwood's sunglasses nearly fell off of his face as his jaw went agape. His cigarette miraculously hung onto his lip as his shocked look quickly turned into a bright smile and he took his shades, his eyes alight.

"Well, young lady, I think I will have no problem helping you find your friend. Let's go look now!"

"Yay! All right!" exclaimed Rein, blissfully unaware of Wolfwood's lecherous intent if he found Hayate in the current crop of new arrivals. After all, she was still young, and blithely ignorant to Hayate's perverseness at times.

"Where do you think we should start looking?"

"I think we should just start wandering around, and eventually we'll find her." He said with a smile. "With faith, young lady, comes all rewards." He offered a hand as he stood up.

"I like that idea, desu!" exclaimed Rein with a little grin, floating down and picking up Hayate's Bag. After all, with her bag here, there was a chance that Hayate was here too!
