For a change, she wasn't Hit Girl, and likely it would stay that way when she was working out. She opted to wear, just like that day, shorts, low top sneakers and a tank top just so it was tight on her body. She was doing her crunches, just as Chase had wanted, only in the Sensoriums it could at least imagine her a gym, typical NY style with the stick like women, the overly muscled men and the smell of sweat and assorted BO. Mindy looked ready to work. Her hair was pony tailed, she was sweating and, just to shake things up, had this playing as a backdrop. It helped, when music was playing, to set the mood. Her mood right now? Work, get stronger, get faster. Hence cardio after this. She couldn't imagine anyone wanting to pop their head in here.

The plan of attack was pretty simple-- the bazaar was generally unfamiliar territory, so the point was going to be to stalk the field, to scope out the best items and deals. If she could find the weakest salespeople, the best deals... those would be the best places to strike. This was going to be good.
Moving with purpose, Rachel started to weave through the crowded bazaar, eyes set on her first target: a nearby clothing stall, vivid fabric aired in the open.

By now they had reached the start of the space walk, giving a shocking, knee-wobblingly expansive view of the space around them that practically demanded at least a tiny knee-wobble of awe. It was all very impressive. The Doctor might have picked this as their first stop on purpose. Call it a weakness or a character flaw, but he so did love impressing humans. Something about watching their faces light up. Didn't much matter to him if they were young, old, armed with unfortunately huge eyebrows or ones that could use a bit more work before they could even be called proper eyebrows. He glanced at Inara when she asked about the Elpexxi body surfing, shooting her a grin that makes him look even more boyish. "Of course, I wouldn't keep going if it wasn't fun," the Doctor said. "It's all in the arms," he made an angling motion with his hands, leaning forward like a skinny Time Lord torpedo, "and dodging the rocks." Actually, he'd gotten better at it over his regenerations, seeing as some of them he'd been...rounder back then (with wonderful taste in hats, though). On some level the Doctor was aware of the small talk but he never saw the point of making it small. Might as well talk about interesting things, right? The Doctor headed down the spacewalk, the not-quite-glass surface stretching over their heads as he headed toward Hydroponics, patting Inara's hand on his elbow. Despite his face, the gesture was more like an old man's as the Doctor pointed toward the door leading toward Hydroponics. The last time he'd been here, he'd had to hunt down his very own human after Jamie proved he was rather good at Doctor evasion tactics. At the very least it should be less humid here. "Ah. Hydroponics!" the Doctor couldn't help a proud flourish. It wasn't his like the TARDIS, but a big alien park...preserve thing was still worth a look around. "Any alien preserves on your planet, Inara?" Depended on where she came from. He couldn't quite tell yet if she was from his universe or one of those alternate ones. For all he knew, it could be one of those ones that, somehow, hadn't made alien contact, which was actually rather surprising when you thought of it. Considering how loud planets with humans tended to broadcast to the rest of the universe and the sheer number of civilizations out there, it was only a matter of time before other aliens bumped into them. The way she talked and what Inara told him didn't necessarily tell him any of those things, not that she came off like she was withholding information.

After finally getting around that annoying creature, Sonic decided to put his priorities in order: if he was going to hang around on that ship any longer, he was going to need supplies. HIS kind of supplies.
Which is probably why, at the moment, one could see Sonic leading a few people with what looks like a big fridge and enough chili, hot dogs and hot dog buns to feed an army.
"It's about time we had some quality food on this ship. Well, quality for me, at least." Sonic said. "It's been ages since I had a decent chili dog. That wasn't faked."

After the briefing, the Orbs Deck disconnected from Stacy, making it's way down to the planet and landing on the top of what looked like...a mall. Outside, a mismatch of buildings stretched as far as the eye could see on a backdrop of a sunny green sky, a few golden clouds lazily floating across it. Here there was a mall, there there was a endless parade of street shops, and over there was a bazaar. And everywhere you looked there was advertising, selling everything from kitchen knives to starship engines to pet cosmetic surgery. And populating this world was a practically endless number of species's, all of them brought together by one thing: trading. Credit was being exchanged everywhere you looked, from the shiny exclusive stores to the the dark and dangerous spaces in-between. As the crew stood around, a peculiar looking alien with a mustache approached them, his oddly-shaped legs and knees making it looks as if he was walking backwards even though he was coming forwards. And as he moved, his accordian-like midsection made moved, making a weird, wheezing noise that might remind some of the crew native to Earth of the sound of Fran Dresser's voice. <Welcome to XaXing, strangers!> he said to them in thought-speak, eagerly rushing towards everyone. <I am Guide! Your ship has already arranged accommodation for you, and I have been employed to guide you there and answer your questions! But if you would just sell me your memories then I can also guide you to all of the best stores and markets...> [[ooc: After this post, everyone is free to make their own posts on the planet! Next to the Mall Hotel, a large bazaar sprawled out through the streets. Food stalls, jewelery stalls, plastic surgery stalls...might want to stay away from that last one. But since the bizaar was close by, it served as a good place for the crew to meet up and start their exploration of XaXing.

Down one of the back alleyways, one might stumble across a small sidewalk market full of peculiar shops. To one side was a store selling hub caps, to the other was a man who'd try to convince you that his potions would bring you eternal youth, really. But in the middle, was a clock shop. It's collection of clocks in stock was peculiar, made of strange materials and working in odd ways (and if you wanted a cuckoo clock, here you could get one with a real cuckoo). But by far the most striking clock was the one that was draped across one of the back tables. The fact that it could drape at all was a big hint to the clock's strangeness. It looked like a giant, metre-wide clock face that had an unfortunate accident with a Bunsen burner and gone all floppy as a result, like it was melting. And yet, the clock still ticked. The merchant spoke. "Do you want to see something strange and mystical?" [[ooc: Alright, this is the post that kicks off the Melting Clock! The clock store Merchant here is Jeepers/Peepers, who's being NPC'd by Allen. Since people other than the Melting Clock guys might want to tag Jeepers/Peepers, please mention in your subject line whether your character is to be affected by the clock or not, so Allen knows who to set the chime off at!
Important Note! If your character is to be affected, make sure that you've signed up, guys. If you haven't filled out the form, you haven't signed up]]
Another Important Note: No more new threads please! If you really really want to thread this out, please ask Allen directly if he's able to. Peter had already run into a bit of trouble. Parking the Spider-Mobile for a bit to check out a camera shop, he exited in just enough time to see two people start it up and drive away, tires squealing.
"Sonuva....THAT'S MY CAR!" he yelled, running after it.
"Note to self, add better security systems to the shopping list," he muttered as he flipped onto a building to continue his chase on higher ground. If nothing else, at least the semi-populated streets would be enough to slow the joyriders down.
That is, if they were going to avoid pedestrians at all.
