Alex sat beneath the shade of a large tree in a decent sized park. Those familiar with New York might recognize the sky scrapers in the distance, even if they didn't recognize the park itself. Parked on a small service road was an ice cream truck with a merry vendor, who claimed that it was customer appreciation day, and was thus giving ice cream away for free.
Alex was already enjoying a chocolate and strawberry cone covered in sprinkles and caramel syrup, wondering if anyone would bother showing up to spend time with him, or even be interested in sensorium ice cream in the first place.
Either way, Alice seemed thrilled, as she pulled what appeared to be pink chocolate chips from a jar labelled "Yogis". Reaching out to pet Alice, Alex laughed a bit, "Don't get used to eating s-so many." sensorium food might not mess with her health, but once they got home, it would be the real thing once again. He figured that she deserved the treat as much as he deserved the ice cream anyway.

Ben had spent the last couple of days feeling strangely hollow inside. As such, he had filled it with junk food (what was left) and watching his DVDs of Sumo Slammers. But he was getting restless.
As such, he was standing in the sensoriums, thinking up locations and discarding each one, one by one. “Too much debris.” Flick. “Too risky.” Flick. “Too high.” Flick. “What the moon? Why would I even…?”
Finally he settled on a familiar sight, the base of Mt. Rushmore.
Next he cleared out as much room as possible, removing manmade items and then filling them with various trees and rocks and stuff. A few hazards ought to do it.
Finally he thought hard, and in a flash of light, about fifty of his old opponents appeared from both kid years and elder years. Going down the line of unnaturally still opponents, Ben started weeding each of them out. “One-shotted. Not this one. Nope.” He paused at Tinny!Kevin and dismissed him completely. “Not my cup of tea today.”
After weeding out the weakest from the strongest and most dangerous, Ben asked Stacy to save this scenario and title it “Smackdown”, over-writing his previous attempt at this.
Cracking his knuckles, Ben asked for danger to be cranked up a notch, and looked at everyone who suddenly came to life.
Vilgax stabbed his giant sword into the ground. “Ben Tennyson, I’ve come to subjugate your entire world and kill you. Is this a bad time?”
“No not really,” said Ben as he struck the Ultimatrix. “FOUR ARMS!”
On cue, his entire rogues gallery rushed him and they met in a resounding clash of flying fists.
Somehow, this was soothing the ache in Ben’s chest.

Talking to Kang was not something Marco really wanted to be doing right now. And yet here he was, flying around over the Drunken Dragon.
<Kang,> he called out in private thoughtspeak, knowing that Kang was inside the tavern - he'd spotted him through one of the windows earlier. <Get your ass out of there, I need to talk to you.>
No, Marco didn't sound testy at all...

Iniss didn't really have a problem with allowing Sam time with his host. The younger Winchester was by far one of the tolerable humans on the ship. A useful thing to cultivate, towards any end, and for such a small request, not something that was even worth refusing. The training was useful, Sam himself was a rather useful ally. Therefore, indulge him.
Which meant that less than an hour later, he stood at the Winchester's door. Waiting for someone to open and hoping that it wasn't the older brother. Human families were rather confusing; that two such different people could result from the same breeding pair baffled him. At least Tom and Jake shared many of the same traits, including height and physical appearance. Even if Jake was a better liar than Tom could ever hope to be.
Tom didn't want to do this, whatever 'this' turned out to be. For some reason his host was suffering under the impression that 'we need to talk' always meant something bad had happened, and he was trying not to think about what it might mean in the back of his mostly silent mind.

Kara Zor-El sat atop the revolving golden globe that crowned the Daily Planet building, wistfully looking out over a view that looked nothing like the Metropolis that the teenage Kryptonian was used to. She brought her knees up to her chest and hugged them close, resting her head on her knees. Am I a monster? she asked herself. The truth was, she wasn't sure. During the time that Kara had spent in GLaDOS, she hadn't really thought about what consequences - if any - there would be to the savage aggression she'd showed Sofia during her fight with her over Julian Keller. Even after she'd been released, when she'd told Julian that she was turning over a new leaf, she hadn't really thought about the consequences. But just now, with what Sofia had told her.... Kara closed her eyes. Dad sent me down to Earth to kill my cousin. Before that, he had me kill my classmates. Kill my mother, who begged me to kill her, just to get away from him. She opened her eyes. I'm trying so hard not to turn into that monster, but after the incident with Sofia...what if I am turning into her? Without even realizing it? She shook her head. No. No. I'm not letting that happen. Not to me. That S that's on my chest? Kal and Kon have both given it new meaning, and I'm not going to let myself ruin that. And what Sofia had said about Julian? Kara wasn't sure that was something she wanted to think about just then.

It was once again time for Billy to assess the progress being made in this seemingly endless war with tasks and deadlines. So far, reorganization of the Engineering department was about 25% complete. Not terrible for a day's work, but he could certainly do better. Several projects were stalled pending discussion from the involved parties. His social time and interactions with the Rangers had taken a hit due to all of this. ( Time for the grind again! )As Billy wandered back and forth throughout the day, a stuffed backpack always accompanied him. Throughout the day, the loaded-down teenager made trips between a number of places on the upper levels and a particular house in the City. Distracted as he was with the constant juggling of omnicom, comm ring, tools, and items, he eventually wore himself out. Where he ended up shouldn't be a surprise: in the city park, fast asleep, sprawled across an assortment of odd items. Somehow, he'd note when he woke up, he doubted this was what had been meant by the recommendation for 'personal time'. ((ooc: The two location tags basically mean you can catch him anywhere: asleep with shiny stuff to steal or rushing back and forth between the different areas of the ship. Just make a note of where you found him.))- Tags:!location: city park, !status: open, alex furest, anwei ayles, billy cranston, eleventh doctor, jamie mccrimmon, katara, lash, nokosi, ron stoppable, ronnae

Querl had sent a message to all of the persons assigned to the exploratory team to meet him in Special Weapons. When they arrived they would find him giving a few last minute tweaks to a palm sized device. He waited until they were all assembled.
"I have constructed a device that will decrease you to approximately 1/100th of your present size. Once you have located the Helmacron ship, you must stand within 5 feet of this device. To activate it you must press here." Querl pointed out the largest button on the device. "I've even made it red so you will not be confused." Oh yes, he was being exceedingly patronizing. "The blue button activates an impenetrable force-field 5 feet in diameter in all directions. It has a limited charge but may be used multiple times. It can be activated for a total of 67 minutes so conserve its energy.
"Did I slow my speech sufficiently for your comprehension or are there any questions?"

Einhart sighed, looking around. She was on the roof of one of the buildings in the city that was... well, there enough to give her a decent amount of room.
She, after everything that happened, all she wanted to do was practice. Train a bit. Don't think about how she married Vivio for the mission.
Married Vivio for a mission to get the map.
And then slept through the mission, making all the embarassment completely pointless.
So yeah, she was on the roof, going through a kata or so. She didn't know why she didn't just go train in the sensoriums, but it was nice up here anyway.
