Karaoke Night [OPEN]
I just need a way to relax.
He suddenly heard music, and opened his eyes to what appeared to be a high class nightclub, but filled with the strangest creatures he had ever seen, even since arriving on the ship. Behind the bar, a green-skinned redhead with horns, more conspicuous for his paisley shirt and purple ascot, was trying to get his attention.
"Hey, kiddo, didn't you hear them call your name?" The demon said, smiling. "You're up, bubbulah. Don't worry, I picked a good song for you." Peter eyed him warily. Wherever this place had come from, it was not his head. But decided not to question it, and went to stand in front of a karaoke machine on stage. He picked up the mike and saw the song, and smiled. He loved this song. EVERYONE loved this song. Luckily, a few years in boy's choir had given him a sense of tune, and puberty had left him with a decent tenor. So, he began to sing.
o/` I can't fight this feeling any longer,
And yet I'm still afraid to let it flow... o/`
That was all it took. As if suddenly injected with 100 ccs of pure rock ballad awesome, Peter closed his eyes and began letting the music take him, eventually rocking out. He had forgotten what it was like, honestly. Forgotten the fun of just letting go and having fun. And as he finished up the REO Speedwagon classic, breathing heavily and feeling alive, he wished he hadn't.
But then he opened his eyes to notice more than just his holographic audience had filtered into the "club".
"Uh... Next?" He said as he hastily replaced the mike and went to get a holo-beer.
That was embarrassing. He could only hope someone would follow him up and make it slightly less so.
[ooc: Start a subthread with your character approaching the stage and singing a song. Characters can react to other's performances even if they aren't singing themselves. And any song you'd like, Lorne has the entire mutliverse on karaoke. I'm not asking, and neither should you.]

He then very nearly got in the hologram's face, "What do you mean, have you? And how much do you know?" He really didn't want things like his time in hell or him supposed to be Michael's meatsuit to be the ship's gossip. Also obviously nobody's explained the Sensoriums to him yet.

"Sweetheart, you have never been a bad-guy, ever. Unless I pose a real threat, you wouldn't kill me if you could. And don't yell at him, he's not the one who brought me here. Big Mama brought me here because you two might need the support you could provide each-other. You and he are the same. You and he do the exact same things. You both are willing to risk your own souls for your brothers." Holo Lorne looked down.
"Maybe, where I'm from, having brothers like you would have been a godsend. Having friends like you... or HIM... would have been more than welcome. But in reality? It never happened for me until... shortly before Stacy saved me into her computer bank of doom." Lorne was more keenly aware of people, and himself, then others might give a "simple" AI credit for. "Maybe big mama brought me here to teach you both a lesson. That everyone needs a backup singer and every backup singer needs a lead. Or vice versa. Who knows. You two are the ones who make the decisions. I'm just an 'AI' who spouts nonsense to all of you." Lorne honestly looked sad at this prospect.

He did eye Peter a bit at that statement, wondering if he's made any deals with devils for his brother too.
He caught enough of the holo-Lorne's speech, "She can do that with people, just download them in?" That sounded pretty creepy and freaky.
He then asked Peter, "So what, you made some deals too?"

"I wouldn't say the Devil deals with people directly where I'm from, more puts people in situations to do things." He took a sip of his beer. " Guy's right, though. When it comes to my brother Nathan, I've definitely made some choices in the devil's favor." He looked down at the bar, the images of his hand pulling the trigger aimed at Arthur, of his hypocrisy in taking the serum, dancing through his mind.

He studied Peter for a moment, "Yeah? Demons AND angels do that too." Especially angels.

"The thing about wanting to be a hero..." He said, in response to Dean's comment of demons and angels," Is that it's never as cut and dry as they make it in the comics." This was something Peter had learned in spades over his four years.
"Honestly? It's not the deals you make, it's the reasons you make them."

"Well, then, at least you know you have someone else here who's at least trying to get you." Peter said as he raised his glass. "To the brothers who do bad things that we protect." It was a bold statement, but Dean and Lorne had given Peter so much to work with.

"Amen to that, man. Amen to that."
