Get you Gone

The meeting is over, the teams have been assigned, the plans have been laid out. It's time to get weapons.

It's time to wish each other luck, and say goodbyes--with the hope that they're only "good bye for now"s.

It's about to get very hairy from here on out.

"She'd just kill me again for dying on her in the first place," he told her, obviously thinking along the same lines. "But I'll spare myself your tiny resurrecting fists of fury. it'll save us all a lot of trouble."

He noticed her start to nod off a little, and nudged her a little bit. "Need to lay down? You have plenty of time before everyone is ready if you want to take a nap or something."

Sherry jerked her head up and frowned at Leon slightly. "No!" she felt guilty, wanting to sleep when everyone else would be leaving off to go to dangerous things. Sherry blinked a few times, and felt her eyes closing for longer and longer periods. "I'm okay!" Well, sort of.

"I know," he smiled at her knowingly, then stood up, and held his hand out for her.

"C'mon."

Sherry's lips thinned a little more, she looked over her father with pure suspicion. "Where are we going?"

"To find you someplace to lay down for a bit." Because as much as you insist otherwise, Sherry, he knows you need it. "I don't want you to pass out where someone can trip over you."

"No one would trip over me," Sherry grumbled, but took his and and pulled herself up with a bit of a wince. "They'd never hear the end of it."
