The meeting is over, the teams have been assigned, the plans have been laid out. It's time to get weapons.

It's time to wish each other luck, and say goodbyes--with the hope that they're only "good bye for now"s.

It's about to get very hairy from here on out.

Leon was moving through the crowd, checking on people. Though he still wanted to have a brief word with Chris.

"Yup." Chris replied automatically, his hand checking the Hydra strapped to his side. "Oh, by the way, thanks for getting me the Hydra. It'll go a long way towards blasting a path."

Chris knew that look too, despite having not known Leon all that long. Truth be told, Chris wouldn't mind having a word with Leon too.

Leon wasn't actually sure what he was going to say to Chris. He wanted to let him know he'd look out for Claire and Jill, though saying that out loud would likely get him stabbed. So there was something of an awkward pause until Leon finally spoke.

"You take care of yourself out there, all right?"

Chris nodded a bit, pulling Leon into a one-armed and exceptionally brief hug. The kind that he would deny for all he was worth later.

"I will. You keep an eye on Jill, Claire, and Sherry for me." He had an idea as to what Leon wanted to say, so he said it for him. Besides, if there was anyone qualified to keep an eye on the three, it would be him.

What hug, sir? Leon does not recall any hug having ever taken place. That's his story and he's sticking to it.

"I will. Don't worry, I'll hold down the fort here." because here was where he was needed the most. "You just make sure to give them enough hell for the lot of us, and then some."

Chris couldn't help but let a bit of impishness creep into that smirk.

"Leon, remember who you're talking to. I taught Claire everything she knows. If there's anything a Redfield does and does damned well, it's kicking all sorts of ass."
