The meeting is over, the teams have been assigned, the plans have been laid out. It's time to get weapons.

It's time to wish each other luck, and say goodbyes--with the hope that they're only "good bye for now"s.

It's about to get very hairy from here on out.

"Dani--you know I got your back." As for the rest of them. "All of you be careful. Please?"

Sherry flails at his hand slightly, without her usual enthusiasm of MUST. SAVE. HAIRSTYLE. "Stooop!"

She gives him her best impression of Leon's annoyed look, and nods, "Of course we'll be careful." Duh, given. Sherry was planning on finding a place to hide and sleep, to be perfectly fair. "And if anything happens, we'll even fall back."

Yuri's pigtails are secured, so she doesn't mind having her hair mussed, just doing that little ducking and closing the eyes thing. "We promise, mom." It just kindof slips out.

Vega squirms a bit, making a face at Kon. "Hey!"

"And I can do careful, you just don't believe me!"

"I'm not the mom!"

"Ack! Hey, don't!" Dani yelped, quickly trying to fix her hair again. She hated that.

And then she laughs when Yuri called Kon mom. "But mom~" Dani said with a teasing smirk. "You worry just like a mom should."

Roxie's expression is kind of like: >8]. Sweet, sweet revenge for him messing with her hair.

"We should make him an apron while he's gone," Sherry suggests, and her expression matches Roxie's.

Yuri's nature is sweeter. "I'm sorry Mister Kon. It just kindof slipped out..." Although she has to admit it fits. Not that she's showing it, out of politeness.

Sometimes you just have to go with the flow.

"Okay, fine, I'm being a big mom," he groans. "Just... look out for each other. And make sure you eat okay. ...And if one of you gets cold, get someone to give you a sweater."

Roxie shrugs, hands in the pockets of her jacket. She's already all set, and she'd never let anyone else wear it, anyway.

Sherry smiles sleepily, "I don't like sweaters." Stubborn as ever, despite her healing injuries. Quietly, she promises that she won't make her new babysitters want to tear out their hair much like they nearly made Kon.

Vega grins, amused. "Yeah, sure Mom. We'll all be fine!"

He likes Kon, really. Underneath his being annoyed with him. It's not Kon's fault he's dumb.

Yuri looks sheepish and apologetic. "At least you're a good mom, Mr. Kon." For instance he would never push her into fighting dangerous and gross aliens with nothing more than hockey equipment and a sarcastic tentahat who she has to let lick her back.
