Get you Gone

The meeting is over, the teams have been assigned, the plans have been laid out. It's time to get weapons.

It's time to wish each other luck, and say goodbyes--with the hope that they're only "good bye for now"s.

It's about to get very hairy from here on out.

Bix wasn't comfortable with any of this. She didn't have hands to use a weapon, and wouldn't have any way. No true Dinotopian would have. "Weapons are enemies,even to their owners." She'd defend herself if she could, and help the wounded, but she wasn't fighting any more than she was forced to.

Red Snout, on the other hand, had loaded himself down with as much ammo for his rifle as he could carry. He snorted at Bix disdainfully.

"Not taking anything? Of course, lacking proper fingers could make that difficult. But no armor? Nothing?" He cocks his head to one side, studying the herbivore.

"I suppose it would be wise to protect myself at least. If I can put it on. It's all strange, but necessary, I suppose." she said. She was examining the armor to see if someone like her could in fact get it on herself.

The raptor tilted his head to the side, studying the other dinosaur for a moment. He, of course, needs no armor. He's a raptor after all.

"Do you require...assistance?" Ugh. Why was he offering to help a herbivore? This place must be affecting his mind.

It wasn't all that unusual to Bix. "I'd be grateful" she replied. She thought a bit about the history in the old scrolls, the stories of when the Island was torn by wars and battles. Empire had fought empire, humans had fought saurians once...but somehow peace had prevailed.
