The Call

Jaime Reyes voice sounds over the comm-rings--all of them--and it sounds very urgent.

« Everyone on the ship, listen up! This is Jaime Reyes, your local 'Blowing this pop stand' coordinator and escape facilitation engineer. I need everyone on the ship to come to the City, in front of the Precinct, immediately. Grab people who don't have their comm rings with them--and tell them to grab their comm rings, people who are sleeping, whoever you find, and try to make sure everyone on the ship knows to come. This is very important. This is "getting the heck out of here" important. »

When they arrive, they arrive to find the Command Staff waiting, and a tiny, tiny young man standing on stone ledge from a fountain, waiting for them.

Here goes nothing.

"Uhm..." From her plantsuit pocket, Cassie pulled out her Nintendo DS and tossed it to Static. "I meant to turn that in earlier." This was embarrassing.

"Ah, for the suits- do you have anything for the size changers or shape shifters?" Alright, she couldn't think of any other size changer she'd met but she couldn't be the only one, right?

"I'll have to check inventory, but that'll be done a little later. Right now we need to focus on and refine the mission plans."

"Stick me with that chalky and calcified organic." Sentinel pointed at the skeleton. "I'm quite certain none of whatever's wrong with him can affect the inherent superiority of mechanical life, and I certainly don't need to worry about things like air."

Zach approached Cassie, overhearing her concern. "I can use a destabilizing enchantment for your suit to accomodate shifting in size, I've already figured out how to reshape these plant-suits as necessary." He gestured to his tux.

Ryuu's ears had perked up at the mention of 'cold'. "I can withstand the elements most well, due to my training. I have experience with water and cold in particular."

He then reflexively looked very sad. "I'm sorry I can't offer to do more without my shodophone, but I can assure you will do my best to help defend others, and withstand this blizzard to aid in it's construction."

Mia looked at Jaime, steeling herself slightly. "I'll stay on the defensive team... a crossbow or longbow's got the ideal range and accuracy to hold attackers at bay, and I can go non-lethal if necessary."

She squeezed his hand, the 'I'd rather be watching your back' very apparent.

"I can cope with snow well enough. I offer my assistance with the blizzard as well," Pirogoeth said. When you were an expert with fire magic, you knew how to get yourself warm.

Katara decided to speak up. "I also have pretty decent abilities in the cold, as where I lived was covered in ice and snow. But if you ned me for something else, I can do that too."
