I'm just a bill on Meatship hill [Open]

Well that whole thing was a big mess. The trial worked but the problem was lack of precedent. Or structure. There was common law, but nothing definite. Should be some basic rules to keep order, or situations like what happened in the city were going to keep happening. Security and the Precinct help, but they need something more to back them. As it was, Nathan was currently holed up in the Media Library of late, poring over various law books of different worlds and cultures. Trying to get some ideas to present to the rest of the Command Staff. And part of it was to make sure there was representation and laws to protect those with and without abilities.

Pirogoeth often came to the Media Library. While they weren't in the form she was used to, the books still held knowledge that she almost craved to learn. As such, it was no surprise that she was there again.

And she noticed the other who was looking through many of the little datapads. Upon closer inspection, she saw they were books on law. After pondering a moment, she moved close. "Thou art very intent on thine reading. Perhaps to do with the recent chaos of the ship's rather unstable form of it?"

Pirogoeth nodded and after a moment, took seat at his table. "Then allow me to assist thee. While I am not from a time as advanced as many present, the idea of leading the....representativs of other societies is something I have some knowledge in."

"In mine world, monarchy was most common. Parliamentary was....not rare, and I hath heard of only a few democracies. Kingdoms ranged in different laws around. Mine own was a monarchy, but with some stipulations. All heirs had to go through various forms of education. Scholarly, military, diplomacy, and others such things, all of these practices were required and expected to be handled in an acceptable manner before the heir is official. This wasn't a common practice for other kingdoms," Pirogoeth explained. "Kuith is the place I know best, Reaht would be second, but I know a great deal about other systems."

"The land with the educated people will recognize the problems as they arise and thus they will be dealt with instead of ignored like those who are fools," Pirogoeth said. "There are other lands like Kuith, though differences in how the process is run, that might perhaps resemble thine East. That would depend on the world. Mine world is called The Endgames."

"Connections do make things easier. Usually if one is of a noble bloodline, they are noticed. It is a bit harder for those of lower classes unless they make friends with a noble. Which isn't as hard as some kingdoms as in Kuith. I do not know of many kingdoms that would actually put the children of those with high power in the heat of battle for their education. Something that might have done quite a great deal for some of the more...arrogant of the lot. They could understand the danger they put their people and get to know some of those of the lower class a bit more personally."
