I'm just a bill on Meatship hill [Open]
Well that whole thing was a big mess. The trial worked but the problem was lack of precedent. Or structure. There was common law, but nothing definite. Should be some basic rules to keep order, or situations like what happened in the city were going to keep happening. Security and the Precinct help, but they need something more to back them. As it was, Nathan was currently holed up in the Media Library of late, poring over various law books of different worlds and cultures. Trying to get some ideas to present to the rest of the Command Staff. And part of it was to make sure there was representation and laws to protect those with and without abilities.

"Sounds a little like monarchic cultures in the East with the focus on education. Also for higher ups in those society. Makes sense. We have something like that, anyone with an interest in management and politics needs a lot of education. Also connections."

"Connections do make things easier. Usually if one is of a noble bloodline, they are noticed. It is a bit harder for those of lower classes unless they make friends with a noble. Which isn't as hard as some kingdoms as in Kuith. I do not know of many kingdoms that would actually put the children of those with high power in the heat of battle for their education. Something that might have done quite a great deal for some of the more...arrogant of the lot. They could understand the danger they put their people and get to know some of those of the lower class a bit more personally."
