A House Divided [Part 3]
[Instructions: Here.]
Despite a few tricks up their sleeves, the Conspirators hardly stood a chance. It's all or nothing as they make a few last ditch attempts to kill the Yeerk, and as the fight grinds to a screeching halt.
Will they kill the Yeerk?
Will someone other than the Yeerk get killed in the crossfire?

Re: The Shame
"I wished someone from my world was here too. He often walked the path of the real world and the spirit world. A few days ago, I discovered he's here, somewhere away from everyone on the ship. They need him for something, but I don't know what. He is very strong, but he would be here trying to protect everyone. It's...because of him, and everyone here, that I want make sure that Yeerk will never get to do what's it done to others before."
She smiled. "I look forward to seeing all of your clan after this. They all sound strong, and willing to function as a unit. Of course, that'll be after we're probably put in the brig for all of this. I regret I had to fight against these people."
Re: The Shame
"They are not my pack, but they are on my team," says Bella, though this doesn't seem to bother her terribly much. "My pack is not here. I'm glad, my sept needs them and they are probably very busy."
Re: The Shame
Katara nodded. "Well I'm glad you have them then! I know it isn't to be here when people from your world aren't, or are pulled from some other kind of space. They'll need you as much as you need them."
Re: The Shame
"I'm glad I'm not alone," she agrees to that assessment. It would be really miserable being the only Garou, even if she only gets along passably with the Homids. They're social creatures.
Re: The Shame
She smiled. "And you're not alone with your human brethren either. I know I don't seem like anyone important, but when I care about anyone, I am willing to do whatever it takes to protect them."
Re: The Shame
"That is as Garou," Bella says. "I would die in defense of my pack."
Re: The Shame
She smiled. "I am glad we understand each other then."
Re: The Shame
"We may not agree, but we have that," the wolf answers. "Do others need you now?"
Re: The Shame
"Yes, I'm sure they do. I'll have to go to the other injured." She paused. "Hope I see you again soon."
Re: The Shame
She's not expecting the degree of punishment that will come down on them, as she's perfectly willing to show throat and take the loss with grace. But this is oddly prophetic.
