A House Divided [Part 3]

[Instructions: Here.]

Despite a few tricks up their sleeves, the Conspirators hardly stood a chance. It's all or nothing as they make a few last ditch attempts to kill the Yeerk, and as the fight grinds to a screeching halt.

Will they kill the Yeerk?

Will someone other than the Yeerk get killed in the crossfire?

Bella decides it's not worth it to keep arguing. Humans. This "Aang" person sounds almost as bad as the Children of Gaia. All life is sacred, try to avoid killing people, bah. Bella's Get. The Get kill. That's just how it works.

"We may not agree, but we have that," the wolf answers. "Do others need you now?"

Katara would have understood the need to kill. How could she not? What they were doing now wasn't exactly a "let-talk-this-out" situation with the Yeerk. The security team definitely knew that.

"Yes, I'm sure they do. I'll have to go to the other injured." She paused. "Hope I see you again soon."

"We were allies in this battle, it is likely," Bella replies.

She's not expecting the degree of punishment that will come down on them, as she's perfectly willing to show throat and take the loss with grace. But this is oddly prophetic.
