Agrestic might have had might farmer's market and produce that would rival the best farms,but for a wunderkind, this wasn't anything she might have really liked. Food? Pah! She was content with the slop and whatever she could pull off in the sensoriums. After taking a stop at the weapons, she was busy looking at all the boutiques and large items and see what she could barter off and find. There were ingredients to collect and rare crystals to find so she could build more things that could be helpful to the war and dangerous to their enemies.

Maybe she could make something like the Black Obelisks again...only this time with less energy draining of the area. She had a feeling Stacy wouldn't be too happy about something taking away from her own energy.

Maybe even a hot tub...look, she had super important priorities, okay. Priorities that included hot tubs.

"Well..." Zetta was stepping into dangerous and unexplored territory here. "It's because they care about us and want us to be happy, I guess." He exhaled, frustrated.

Probably time he owned up to something he'd been trying to avoid saying. "I'm... not sure I could really stand pretending to be broken up with you."

"....oh." Well now she felt really bad for suggesting it in the first place. But she smiled back a little. "Yeah I guess it would be kinda hard, huh? I just don't want them using it against us, that's all. You know if they're anything like we were, they'll try every dirty trick in the handbook."

Kinda strange, in a way. Now that they actually had ~~feelings~~ for each other, they stood a slightly greatest risk.

"How would they use us against each other?" Zetta blinked. "I mean, the classic idea there is to kidnap the girl and make the guy do what you want him or else she gets hurt. But I feel sorry for anyone who tried to kidnap you... and I think you'd be insulted if I spent too much time worrying about you."

"You know, threaten to kill the other---WHAT." Uh no. No. No one was going to kidnap her and live to tell about it. Unconsciously, she clenched her fists and then groaned. "Laaaaaame! The minute some...dumb stupid idiot would try that, the only thing they'd find by the time anyone got to me was exploding guts everywhere!"

In other words, yes, thank you, she was very grateful you did not worry about her like that. ~~Victoria took more than the Lion's Share of worrying people anyway.~~

"...okay well I guess it's on to another plan then. I just thought arguing against you but you sticking to your guns even against me would have scored some points with them, that's all."

"Exactly." The book nodded (which remained as weird and comical-looking as ever). "But I'm not sure what you're saying... I WOULD stuck to my guns against you! Especially if you were wrong." Zetta didn't mean to imply that he'd stick to his guns even if HE were wrong, but let's face it, they both knew it was true.

"I'm just not gonna break up with you because we have a disagreement."

"Well uh, I figured it would be good dramatics," she explained. She was new to everything, okay? In fact she might have seen her and Hawke leaving Black Hole as a sort of breakup from how she understood it so well.

"Remember on the planet we pretend to hate each other? I meant something like that but....bigger to get their off their guard."

"Yeah, I remember that." That had actually been kind of fun! Faking a fight, then running off in the middle once their work had been done... "But we can't just quit and sneak off and hang out, this time. It'd have to be for good. We seriously couldn't see each other if we did it."

The book looked sincerely depressed at the thought.

"...that would suck," she commented, crossing her arms and looking about as depressed as he was, sighing.

"Guess we should stick to the basics instead, huh?"

The book sort of... awkwardly leaned against her. It was intended to be comforting.

"Well, I didn't go through all this hell and being forced into sharing a body with you and then having to admit to... you know, the whole love thing... NOT to enjoy it. I'm damn well gonna."

And no worry. Lash somehow understood the intent. Zetta could have been a sentient crayon and she wouldn't have really cared. Okay maybe that could have been a little too weird but yeah.

"Yeah you're right. And I'll fight off anyone that says otherwise!" Lash no stop it, you're sounding like a shoujin hero now.

"...Meanwhile, I have GOT to get my body back," the book said, after a moment's awareness of just how awkward this was. "You have no idea how much this is starting to annoy me!"

"I can't say, I've never been stuck in a book form," she said with a small grin, being Lash and trying to cheer him up a little. "You got any idea how that could happen?" She looked up at the sky.

"Meanwhile...I don't mind it." Sure it wasn't exactly typical, but Lash never did typical anyway.

"You probably enjoy it, it keeps me from getting grabby while we're not in the Sensoriums," he said with a wink. "But I know how to fix that. I'll tell my minions to get grabby and I'll live vicariously through them. Hyaaa ha ha ha ha! Soon you'll be begging me to get a body!"

She lifted the corner of her mouth just slightly.

"Pfft! Like they'd dared do that to me!" She gave a look at the minions as if daring to even think about it or true.

"Sure they would. They follow my orders, after all." He waggled his eyebrows lecherously.

But then the Overlord fell thoughtful again. "I thought the only way to get my body back would be to win this war, but... damn, there has to be another way."

"Maybe, but they know it's foolish to try and do that to me," she added back just as fast, before sitting down on the ground to think, the weight of the bracelet still feeling a bit odd to her. She twirled it around, which oddly enough made her think better.

"You'd need a something with a lot of power that rivals yours," she said thoughtfully. "Technically, I could probably do that with a big enough Black Obelisk, but that would require siphoning dry a couple of planets, and I doubt Stacy would let me do that." Not that she'd do it anyway! ...mostly.

"Yeah, ideally I'd have to claim a half-dozen Netherworlds or so. Then I could forge them all into my own Netherworld once again, which would give me the power I needed and solve everything."

Zetta sighed. "If I just had ARMS I could wish myself back!"

"I'm guessing if I built you arms, that wouldn't count, would it?" She tried to imagine a book Zetta with two arms and...wow no, bad mental image.

"Nope. They wouldn't be MY arms. They'd be... equipment, I guess. It'd be like writing the wish in the Sacred Tome by carving it in with a swordpoint. Not the same."

"Poopy." Wow, very five year old, Lash. "If there was a way we could bend the rule without having to break it..."

"The only way is someone with enough mana power, and so far no one fits the bill," Zetta sighed. "About the only good thing I can see is that I don't need to worry about you getting upset about a lack of action while I try ti figure this out."

"Right," she replied, sighing on her own and quite comically almost repeating him. "Yeah, that's gonna be a lot of action. Still not sure which side I should be 'rooting' for," she added. "Since the whole breakup idea is out. I'd need a good excuse to either join you or the rebellion. Maybe something will happen to help that along."

"I'm your excuse for joining me," Zetta said with a 'well duh' sort of air. "And your excuse for joining the other side could be that you don't want to do what I do because you don't want people thinking you're just following along with me."

That...almost made too much sense. She looked at him for a second, before bursting out laughing.

"Tee hee! You're right! And here I was trying to think of something overly complicated when simplicity can work--you know it only works for those situations mind you I'd rather build something complicated!" It was rather hilarious how she went from laughing to an utterly serious voice midway. Just so he didn't get the wrong ideas.

"I have no idea what side I'm gonna be in, but you're right...whatever happens, it's gonna be a blast!" For all she knew. Oh Lash. If you only knew.

Zetta joined her in a laugh, grinning. "THAT's more like it. It WILL be a blast. And if we end up on opposite sides, we can have massive real fights and actually make out in the middle of them."
