We're gonna shop till we drop! [Open]
Who: Open log that is open for all
Where: Planetside
Summary: Shopping extravaganza
Warnings: SHOPPING
Agrestic might have had might farmer's market and produce that would rival the best farms, but for a wunderkind, this wasn't anything she might have really liked. Food? Pah! She was content with the slop and whatever she could pull off in the sensoriums. After taking a stop at the weapons, she was busy looking at all the boutiques and large items and see what she could barter off and find. There were ingredients to collect and rare crystals to find so she could build more things that could be helpful to the war and dangerous to their enemies.
Maybe she could make something like the Black Obelisks again...only this time with less energy draining of the area. She had a feeling Stacy wouldn't be too happy about something taking away from her own energy.
Maybe even a hot tub...look, she had super important priorities, okay. Priorities that included hot tubs.

"Tee hee! You're right! And here I was trying to think of something overly complicated when simplicity can work--you know it only works for those situations mind you I'd rather build something complicated!" It was rather hilarious how she went from laughing to an utterly serious voice midway. Just so he didn't get the wrong ideas.
"I have no idea what side I'm gonna be in, but you're right...whatever happens, it's gonna be a blast!" For all she knew. Oh Lash. If you only knew.

Nooooooo....no she didn't want this to happen.
"Maybe I can...do something about that..."

Zetta paused to consider. It WAS a bit awkward as a book... it had to be even more so for her. For a brief moment, Zetta felt actual guilt for making this thoroughly awesome and wonderful girl hook up with a freaking book. Well... not like he had forced her somehow, but damn. She deserved a hot guy who WASN'T literary three-quarters of the time.
"Yeah, sticking to the sensoriums is probably a good idea. What are you thinking?"
no subject
Honestly, this was not just for her own personal enjoyment, she had a good idea of what it could be like walking around and having no real hands.
"Even if it's just for a few hours at a time or something...it could probably help out with council work too."
no subject
The irony of asking Lash, who came from a completely nonmagic world, how magic worked was completely lost on Zetta.
no subject
"Dunno if I could make something exactly like a sensorium, but maybe something close enough. Might take a long while to do tho. The rebellion might be over and done by then." And they might all be dead and over with by then too.
no subject
"Hey, I think you should try it. If nothing else it'd be a fun thing to do while we're not doing other stuff. ...For you, anyway, but I can live with you doing things that aren't me or me-related. Difficult though that may be," he said with a smug grin.
no subject
"Tee hee! I guess I should just do some stuff for myself alone then!" You wanted teasing, she was ready to deliver. "Maybe I could do something that works a bit like REM sleep. Not like the sensoriums at all, but the hardest part would be making it work for you, pretty much. Oh oh! That means it can be a science experiment!"
Lash had always loved having test subjects. Poor Flak would know much about that.
no subject
...In other words, he had just promised her unlimited minion experimenting.
"But even not just for me. The sensoriums are actually pretty powerful. If we can duplicate them or even just get a little bit of their power behind us, we get a major advantage."
no subject
"Yeah that's what I'm thinking. Secret training where they can't watch us does have it's positive effects. But this would have to be a pretty long job, honestly. The best Ive done is...you know what I'm just going to do it anyway! I'm not he Wunderkind for nothing!"
Yes, enthusiasm. She was good at it.
"Meanwhile...I wanna get you something too! Let's go do that!"
Lash had no idea what to get him.
no subject
"Man... I really am your first boyfriend, aren't I?" he said thoughtfully.
no subject
"D'you really think a lot of the guys could have been able to withstand me?" She didn't mean it as herself being a pain, oh no no. She meant it more in the no one would willing risk going out with her and be able to live about it if she got angry at them. "Tee hee hee! I be they'd be running the other way once they looked at my the wrong way!"
But now, what did you get an Overlord?
no subject
And, well... Lash really was pretty awesome. He hadn't noticed that in their first meetings, not the same way he recognized it now. Zetta even realized he might never have noticed it if not for the whole de-aging thing. If they hadn't gone on that date, and if it hadn't gone so much differently -- and so much better -- than expected.
Zetta had fallen quiet as he thought about all of this.
no subject
"Hey hey! It was pretty cool anyway! They let me play with a lot of fun things!" Like lives amongst other things, woops. She stopped talking when she noticed the book wasn't moving or twitching anymore. Uh? Great, she had this fear that it was another one of those times when he had stopped moving for a few, and that got her worried. Without thinking about it, she shook the book a little just to make sure.
"Hey Zetta? You okay?!"
no subject
He looked away, dropping his voice. In some ways, admitting that she was awesome, directly, still didn't come easy. She had power over him. That was something he found it difficult to voice directly.
"You are awesome," Zetta said quietly.
no subject
Oh!
Oh.
She still wasn't quite sure how to react to those, but at least the shyness was fading away a lot more. "You're really awesome too," she said back, almost as gently.
One of the minions tried to tilt him again like when she had started crying but Lash pushed him away. No don't ruin the moment dammit!
no subject
One burst of angry flopping later, the Overlord, now back in his minion's hands, attempted to pretend that had never happened. "Hey Lash, you think we'll ever get any better at the... you know, mushy stuff?"
no subject
"Nah....but it's not like either of us care, right?" She suddenly stopped walking next to a shop. Capes N'Stuff. "Oooh! Capes!" Zetta had a cape in his normal form! Maybe they could find something there that could look good!
...maybe a tiny little cape for his book form, okay no that was a terrible idea.
no subject
"Hey, have you ever tried wearing your coat just fastened at your neck, and your arms not in the sleeves?"
no subject
As they got in, capes of all colors, shapes and sizes were displayed. Expensive, cheaply made, technocolored, kitten patters...
"Maybe something in black and red..."
no subject
"What exactly are you looking for? Because you'd actually look pretty hot in something shimmery and elegant."
