Out of credits, Game Over. [Open - During Shore Leave]
The Shodan incident had left more than a foul memory, in fact, it was so bad that the details were hazy.
But he knew he'd gone rogue, and he knew that he caused a lot of damage... and hurt people he cared about. There was no excuse, this was were he belonged. That however didn't make it any more depressing. He'd missed the new crew members, and he would miss much of the going ons but Splicer was used to being alone...
He had his team back after all, even if they were back at home. For now, he'd simply sit there, slumped against the cell wall and think of the thing's he'd done.
Man... this is the shit that the other Spectres got killed for... way to lose it cowboy...

You'll have to forgive him if he tries not to look up seeing as he feels he doesn't deserve the presence.
"Eh, I'm sure this is five star treatment compared to what I woulda gotten back home for this whole shitstorm... So I'm alright... How about you?"
no subject
"You want to tell me what happened?" Because he had some suspicions, but it was hard to really tell for sure.
no subject
"I wish I could tell you in detail myself... But my head's still hazy. I just remember a sudden blackout and the biggest migraine I have felt in my life... When I came to I...."
He paused, holding his head for a moment and closing his eyes tight to stave off the pain before shaking his head.
"I remember that thing... the AI... at first I had thought it was Stacy, fuck knows she's a crazy bitch, and... then they... they just didn't respond... my team... they... I thought they... were dead..."

"Yeah, my team. Don't you remember? Mig, Alice, Lil?"
He paused for a moment before frowning, "Yeah... I didn't know about this Shodan whoever till after I was knocked out and put here... And the power cutout would explain why I had the massive migraine and couldn't remember much of anything other than wanting to destroy Stacy..."
no subject
"Oh. Right. So when your powers disappear... you have trouble remembering things?"
no subject
But he trusted Zouichi.
"More like there's nothing holding back the damage... There's certain... mental dampeners in place that make me able to be somewhat acceptable in society."
Splicer sighed heavily and ruffled his own hair in frustration.
"Spectre experiments left their subjects with mental damage due to the extremeness of them. You get trained to quell your more serious issues in order to function... partially. Most of us were killed off when we couldn't be reigned in, or when we went rogue... The 'working condition' amount of us was minimal..."
no subject
"Well, you're here now. How long are they going to keep you in the brig?"
no subject
Well, it was more by accident, but still. They were better off without the chance of getting 'turned off' if the disobeyed orders.

Then he lifted the object in his hands, holding it through the bars. "Here." It was a black box, wrapped in colored cloth. Inside was a boxed lunch, made from ingredients Zouichi had bought on shore leave (http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7142/6669012833_967281ab4d.jpg).

"Thanks, I'll keep that in mind if I start going crazy in here."
Well, crazier...
His thoughts were shaken away at the offering. He accepted it in kind, after all, refusing something was usually rude and eyed it's contents with a smirk.
"Man... I never thought I'd be this happy to receive food." his reply was more relaxed, a chuckle leaving his lips as he lightly shook his head before turning to face Zouichi.
"Thanks bro."
no subject
"So. If you'd like, I could check in on Hunter's Pad now and then. Make sure Howard hasn't stripped out all the wiring or something."
no subject
"I'd like that, thanks. I don't think he would, I mean, considering he's all about self-preservation and survival from what I hear." Don't touch his shit!!!!

He didn't have a lot of experience with video games, unlike Splicer, but he did have great twitch reflexes.

"Hopefully someone will grab my list and pick me a few more from the new planet."

Grocery sale shopping, on the other hand... well, Zouichi would make a great housewife. "How many of those things do you have, anyway?"
no subject
"Games? Shit man, some would say too many would be an understatement. I love them, and collect them. And have managed to get vintage games from way, way back, 20th century in my world. Which is to say many thousands of years back... so you can say my library is quite extensive."
That was the cheerful and extensive way of saying 'I have millions of games.'
no subject
Also, that was a ridiculous number of games.
no subject
"And before the stablishment of the first Terran colony which was thought to have been lost and forgotten, there's not much info one what year it was on Earth. I'm sure the UED would know more if those bastards hadn't turned tail and ran after the Brood Wars."
no subject
"Well... I can't help you there, I guess. Where I came from, it was 3006 A.D. So it's kind of strange, with all these people from the 20th and 21st century around. Even if you're from 2505, though, those are some antique games you've got."
no subject
As far as the games went, he smiled, "Yeah, Love those old games to death man. But I guess even the one's that I would say are top of the line from my time would be antique to you huh?" He chuckled.
no subject
He shrugged a little. "Maybe, maybe not. I mean, it's not like I've played that many video games. They'd all probably be new to me, actually." Even Pac Man. Or Pong. Although Pong would most likely be incredibly agonizing for Zouichi.
