It Was a Graveyard Smash! [OPENTASTIC]
The Sensoriums are decorated like the most well-tended and enthusiastically holiday-oriented suburb Southern California could have created. Jack-O-Lanterns grin out from driveways and porches; smoke machines belch out onto the sidewalk; orange-tinted Christmas lights twinkle from the rooftops. A loop of Halloween-themed music, from the Monster Mash to Thriller, plays over the scene.
Eva knows there aren't many children on Stacy, but that doesn't mean that the ones here shouldn't have the occasional holiday. Just because they lack a calendar doesn't mean they lack a festive spirit. Besides, almost all kids like candy and she was able to purchase plenty at the theme park and in Geartopia.
Each house has some hologram families giving out candies and chocolates, as well as small toys and little origami animals. Every hologram is dressed up in a ridiculous costume of some sort.
She flits from house to house, imagining up little details to add, dressed in an orange prison jumpsuit she finds unbearably humorous. After sending out a message on the channels, she waits for guests to arrive.
[OOC: Everybody, go forth and mingle, have fun with the setting, TP some houses, whatever! Please threadjack, start your own threads, and go wild. The Halloweentown mini-plot will be in this post later tonight with those players, but the rest of the post is open for everyone.]

But nowhere did he tell her not to stop seeing him, so Zetta clearly had nothing to worry about!

"Hmph," Zetta said, smirking. "He only found me obnoxious because I'm way more awesome and powerful than he can ever be!"
Lash, this was your cue to agree in some way, shape, or form. It could be teasing, or with attitude, or reluctant, or... anything Zetta had come to expect from her over the time they'd spent together. The important thing was that she agreed.
Just to set the record straight! He was not jealous!

Lash would probably pay for that kind of match.

Zetta lifted his hands, balling them into fists like he was going to start punching -- something, anything! Then, out of sheer frustration, he slapped a hand to his head like he was going to start pulling on his own hair.
And promptly stabbed himself with the sleeve dagger that he had completely forgotten was part of his costume.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!"

That was nothing like what Lash had been expecting him to do, and just as fast as she could think about stopping herself from getting too close, she was already up on the broom to better see what had just happened, cutting part of her sleeve, using her hands to push away his arm and cover the cut with her own.
Technically she knew he could probably heal himself and it was just a tiny flesh-wound.
She didn't know why this was her first reaction, or the fact she was worried about it.
"H-hey! Don't do that!" She said in a weird tone.

Zetta never forgot that these bodies were fake. But that incident had shattered whatever weird tension was growing between them on his part as well. His protests now were just typical Overlord grumpiness.

"Hmph. Well..."
He looked over at Lash, all seriousness and determined willfulness once again, but that only lasted a second or so. The corners of his mouth began to twitch as a thought crossed his mind that he tried to suppress. But he couldn't.
"Guess I got the point, huh?"
no subject
Like really, but then it was just too much and she fell right back on her broom unable to hold back from the laughter.
"You certainly cut the matter at hand." she agreed.

Hadn't they been arguing? Or at least having a serious discussion?
no subject
"I have to hand it to you, that..." she couldn't finish just laughing too much again. Lash no, please quit with the hands pun while you were ahead.

"Okay, okay, you win!" she declared somewhere between them, trying to feed oxygen back into her lungs.

Probably not.

When did Lash and Zetta ever learn anything except how to deny and repress better?

"You sound like you have something in mind."

Lash, you're just making whispering noises, you're not actually saying anything
