It Was a Graveyard Smash! [OPENTASTIC]
The Sensoriums are decorated like the most well-tended and enthusiastically holiday-oriented suburb Southern California could have created. Jack-O-Lanterns grin out from driveways and porches; smoke machines belch out onto the sidewalk; orange-tinted Christmas lights twinkle from the rooftops. A loop of Halloween-themed music, from the Monster Mash to Thriller, plays over the scene.
Eva knows there aren't many children on Stacy, but that doesn't mean that the ones here shouldn't have the occasional holiday. Just because they lack a calendar doesn't mean they lack a festive spirit. Besides, almost all kids like candy and she was able to purchase plenty at the theme park and in Geartopia.
Each house has some hologram families giving out candies and chocolates, as well as small toys and little origami animals. Every hologram is dressed up in a ridiculous costume of some sort.
She flits from house to house, imagining up little details to add, dressed in an orange prison jumpsuit she finds unbearably humorous. After sending out a message on the channels, she waits for guests to arrive.
[OOC: Everybody, go forth and mingle, have fun with the setting, TP some houses, whatever! Please threadjack, start your own threads, and go wild. The Halloweentown mini-plot will be in this post later tonight with those players, but the rest of the post is open for everyone.]

"You looked pretty cool I have to admit! I had a lot of fun! This holiday is very similar to the Hallows End one back in Azeroth. It brough back lots of fun memories and pleasant feelings. I just wish i had some pumpkin ice cream. Those were pretty good, but you could only find them at the Masked Matron's locations or in Tanaris."

He stepped closer to her. "I wouldn't mistake you for anyone else, though. You look great."
no subject
"T-thanks... I really liked it too. It's from one of the games I played over at the arcade at hunter's pad."
She looked thoughtful for a moment before looking back to him. "That sounds like it could have been dangerous, your enemies could have slipped in as costumed people and attacked you."
no subject
As for her costume? He stepped back to admire it, the lights in his eyes. "It looks great on you. Mine's from a comic book I saw once, tweaked to be slightly more impressive. This beetle warrior was quite the hero."
An inspiration for him, of course.
no subject
At the compliment she blushed but smiled nonetheless.
"A beetle hero? That's pretty cool! It reminds me about this set of armor that the Cenarion Circle used to fashion for the heroes that fought in the war of Ahn'Quiraj. It reminded me of beetles as well and it was pretty neat!"
no subject
"I would've liked to see that. You have so much history, so much knowledge. It's overwhelming sometimes. But even you need a little treat now and then," he winked.
no subject
"W-well, maybe one day I can build up the courage to host an Azerothian holiday on the sensoriums."
no subject
no subject
"Or just indifference I guess. Most of us seem to stick to ourselves and such." Not that she's blame them, she was an outcast in her world after all.
"M-maybe at some point I'll plan for something so you can witness it and partake of it too!"
no subject
Billy gave her a quick hug for encouragement. "If you did, I wouldn't miss it. There's so much I want to know about you."
no subject
"What else would ya like to know. I know I don't talk about myself often... But that's because I find myself boring!" she admitted a bit playfully and sheepishly.
"B-but, if ya ever want to ask, just go ahead~ Y-ya know I'll answer, at least for you love."
no subject
Billy sank into his thoughts for a few moments, thinking back on things she might want to know about him---and therefore what he might ask her in return.
"You're a great mechanic. We all know that. But I'm curious. Did your experiments ever go awry at home, or are the mishaps my domain?"
no subject
"That's like asking if I've choked while breathing! Mishaps and engineering go hand in hand! I can go through a whole day telling you about all the mishaps that I've gone through while working on my projects and I still do! It's part of our trade you know!" she said happily with a wink.

Liquids were so tricky! It was frustrating.
no subject
"Oh, oh! I also filled the house with foam when I was little... My parents thought it was amusing since my siblings took it as a 'Let's make a sud party!' opportunity."
no subject
It was clear from his expression that he wasn't angry, though.
"...slime? You were a puddle? How did you get reconstructed?" That was more worrisome.
no subject
She paused for a moment and remembered they were still in the sensoriums.
Ronnae made a little square mid-air and an image of said slime (http://images.wikia.com/wowwiki/images/1/13/Sewage_Slime.jpg) showed up.
"I could move around and such, and eat. But that was about it."
no subject
He would've struck out at whoever stepped on her.
no subject
She really hoped she wasn't losing her memories... That would be incredibly painful.
Shaking the thoughts away, she smiled again and nodded. "Yup! Everything got fixed after a few hours. It was sorta fun actually! I was wobbling and moving around and it felt funny." she laughed.
no subject
Anyway, he shook his head and hugged her. "I think we've been scared enough. We're having a great Halloween for once."
no subject
It was one of the benefits you see.
Ronnie returned the hug lovingly and nuzzled her face against his chest. "It's been really fun for sure!"
no subject
"Not me! I'd be a quivering slime, as that would be the only way to express my fear and disgust. That, or I might be shifting here and there to try to show someone how to fix it."
Billy the bouncing slimeball. What a mental image! "Let's hope that never happens."
no subject
"A little bitty slime with glasses! So cute~! Now I need to make one!" she added excitedly, gears in her head turning already as she tried to remember how to create said slimes.
no subject
"As long as it's a replica slime. No turning me into one!" he yelped, but jokingly. He knew she wouldn't. "But you can take care of me if it ever happens, and I certainly hope not."
no subject
"Okay, maybe a little bit of it crossed my mind. But only because like I said, you'd make the cutest slime! Or well, the cutest everything!"
