Deep from the dank, dark bowels of the Media Library... IT CAME! FROM THE CELLULOID!

Five terrible movies guaranteed to give you CHILLS! THRILLS! Or maybe just, I dunno, a vague sense that the universe has wronged you somehow and you want several hours of your life back.

Today, anyone walking into this particular Sensorium would be greeted by the sight of a late 20th century darkened movie theatre, playing a quintuple-feature consisting of old Earth movies that were honestly not very good. At the bottom of the seating area was some dude giving out free popcorn, candy, and drinks.

Howard, Zouichi, Allenby, and Jr. were around, and anyone else was welcome to walk in and join in.

[each of the movies is listed below, just tag in wherever you want. I put a small link in each movie's post so you can have some idea of what the movie is about, although honestly I would say that the movies themselves often do not actually know what they are about. All threads are open unless labeled 'closed'.

Atom took a seat right next to Alendian, munching on popcorn from a large, decoratively-striped paper bag. Also, he was slurping his slushee.

"I hope the shark wins," he said brightly.

"Nope! It's gonna be the octopus," said Allenby as she vaulted over a few rows to land in the seat next to Atom. She managed not to spill the giant slushie. Normally she hated Sensorium food and Sensorium everything, and she'd be spending an extra-long session thinking hostile thoughts at Stacy today, but... well she just couldn't resist. "Too many arms for a shark to deal with."

Vega turned around in his seat two rows down to look up to Atom and Allenby.

"I bet they team up and wreck tons of stuff!" he contributed, equally excited. He hadn't gotten to watch a movie in a really long time, this was so fun! Actually, he had only been into a theater maybe two times.

This probably explained his complete and total lack of not-yelling-stuff-during-the-movie etiquette.

And tucked in to an awkward corner was someone who was both over-analyzing his popcorn and also giving the screen dirty looks.

"They're both going to die in the end, they're just aquatics." Suck it, Mezul, your patron animals couldn't even kick their own asses.

Surrounded by fools. Why did she even pick this movie? "I, for one, insist that all the mon-keigh fail at whatever they wish to do."

Atom spilled a little popcorn on Alendian as he sat up a little. "Huh? The what? Anyway, you can't root for both of them to lose. One of them definitely has to win!"

Mon-keigh? Allenby raised her eyebrows at Alendian, recognizing her as one of the folks who'd agreed to her kind of disastrous plan to rescue the crew from Galilee. "They'll probably trash a whole bunch of stuff, but I bet the humans'll get whichever one loses. I just hope it's all excitin'."

Vega twisted around to the other side to get a better look at Alendian. "What's a mon-keigh? That's a shark and an octupus that's fighting."

"...humans are usually scavengers when it comes to destroying their enemies~ Wait for the two to kill the other, then attack the remainder while it's weak."

Not a bad tactic, but pretty hysterical considering how many humans he knew that toted justice or whatever.

Despite being surrounded by humans and human look-alikes, she had no shame. "Human. The humans," she said, flicking the stray popcorn off her lap.

"Never heard that name for humans before," Jr. noted - but he shrugged it off, there were tons of words and terms he hadn't heard before. He set his focus on Allenby. "I've got my money on the shark! Octopus' may have more legs, but the shark has speed and teeth! And it's a mega shark. That sounds way cooler than 'giant'."

"Yeah, it's definitely got to be the shark!" said Atom, scattering some more popcorn on Alendian. "Anyway, it's not about the humans, it's about the animals."

"It is similar enough to one of your human words. You can derive the meaning from there." And stop that, Atom! Alendian brushes off some more and glares at the boy.

"The animals will most likely be slaughtered in the end. This is how things are done."

Caz kicked his feet up to rest on the seat in front of him.

"Maybe they'll make sushi out of them. Cure world hunger or something like that~ Then boom, mercury poisoning~"

Man, you guys were so negative.

"Well, I guess the good guys are going to win in the end." Atom appeared not to notice Alendian's death glare. Of course, he supposed the definition of 'good guy' might be different for some of the people watching.

Allenby grinned and flicked a milk-dud at Alendian, then popped one in her mouth. "Don't be such a pointy-eared snob," she said once she'd unstuck her teeth. "'Course they're gonna win--whoa, wait a sec--" Allenby's eyes widened as the scene switched to an airplane... and the mega shark leaping up to crunch it like a soda can. "Holy crap!"
