Deep from the dank, dark bowels of the Media Library... IT CAME! FROM THE CELLULOID!

Five terrible movies guaranteed to give you CHILLS! THRILLS! Or maybe just, I dunno, a vague sense that the universe has wronged you somehow and you want several hours of your life back.

Today, anyone walking into this particular Sensorium would be greeted by the sight of a late 20th century darkened movie theatre, playing a quintuple-feature consisting of old Earth movies that were honestly not very good. At the bottom of the seating area was some dude giving out free popcorn, candy, and drinks.

Howard, Zouichi, Allenby, and Jr. were around, and anyone else was welcome to walk in and join in.

[each of the movies is listed below, just tag in wherever you want. I put a small link in each movie's post so you can have some idea of what the movie is about, although honestly I would say that the movies themselves often do not actually know what they are about. All threads are open unless labeled 'closed'.

"I understand this is some sort of... derivative film, based on a slightly more accurate portrayal of events," said Zouichi.

He just... couldn't look away. It was horrible.

"....Accurate," Grif repeated in his most reasonable, oh-of-course tone.

"Accurate down to the little talking mice and rapping dog. How could I forget!"

"There weren't any talking mice on my Earth," said Zouichi, obviously too horrified by the movie to pick up on the sarcasm. "There were talking bears, though."

Grif peered at Z for a moment instead of the astounding travesty on the screen. "Animals don't talk, dude. Unless you've been out in the sun too long."

"Trust me, this one talked. And held me at gunpoint briefly. He was the relative of a famous scientist, and they had his brain transplanted into a grizzly bear body."

Zouichi's world. Was weeeeird.

"Are you sure it wasn't a guy in a bear suit? I think that happened once. It was on COPS."

"Pretty sure. He didn't have a zipper or anything. Also, I had to carry him on my bike for a little bit."

Grif watched the movie and thought. It wasn't hard to do, this thing wasn't anywhere near cerebral.

"Well, that should've been your first hint it wasn't a bear. Bears don't fit on bikes."

Zouichi looked confused. "Well, it was a bit of a tight fit, but we were just fine except for that one jump."

"Is this a bike bike we're talking about or some other thing that's not actually a bike that we're calling a bike?"

"A motorcycle bike. HDC-08B-3." What, Grif, didn't you want to get into a playground argument?

Grif tried to work this out in his head, having only a vague idea of how big a bear was.

"You've got one badass bike, then," he concluded. He would've liked to have kept arguing about it but he didn't think Zouichi was messing with him. He seemed far too serious and reasonable to be messing.

"Couldn't they have picked a better animal though? It's gotta be hard to hold somebody at gunpoint without hands."

Zouichi thoroughly agreed. His bike was badass. "It's on the ship, if you want to see it sometime."

"Well, bears do have claws, and they have the capacity to stand upright. I suppose they could have picked a gorilla, though. Maybe they didn't have the same viral immunity as bears did..."

HOLD UP THERE, ZOUICHI. Jr. turned his head and raised an eyebrow. "Wait, what? Bears?"

"Bears," Zouichi agreed. "He was pretty friendly once we got to know each other, but before that, he thought I was after the girl he was taking care of."

"Are bears the only animals that can talk where you're from? We have bears, but they're wild..."

"Well, to be perfectly accurate, he was a person, but given a grizzly bear body. I'm still not entirely sure how he could talk, though..."

...come to think of it, that was a little weird.

"But if they could do it with bears, I don't see why any other reasonably large animal would be out of reach."
