Teams and How Not To Kill Them [Team Lima Only]

If he's going to hold a team meeting it seems reasonable to try to make it as nice a meeting as possible, so he's taken over one of the sensoriums so that they can have couches.

...well okay the room is actually just his office back home with some couches ADDED, but they are still comfortable places to sit. There's also juice and cookies!

Mostly he just wants to get a handle on who all is under his intermittent command here when it comes to the missions. It's not going to do him any good to have a team if he doesn't have a handle on their abilities.

Ninjas are trained to work solo with a unified style that lets some missions be handled in pairs or fours. This means that, well, the Doc isn't really much of a 'large group' strategist. In fact his past attempts at planning non-solo missions have gone over in some spectacularly terrible ways. But hey, that plane thing was soooo Dad's fault, seriously.

For right now he has to at least try, though.

He munches on a cookie and waits.

"And I'm Dani with an I Phantom, the female version of him minus the map thing," Dani added as she flew into the Sensorium. She looked at Danny.

"Though if we're on the same team, I might need a different nickname. Maybe just D?" Well, in case there were some commands, she didn't want to follow the wrong ones.

"Ghosts could be handy, yo," Dark Smoke Puncher said, now on a couch that he wasn't on a moment before, munching on a cookie. With his mask on. Ninja tricks, for those who don't know about that. "They're a wicked pain to duke it out with.

"Danny and Dani. Yeah, nicknames might be a good idea."

Doc waved at Sean without missing a beat, making a thoughtful hurm noise at his comment on ghosts being a pain to fight. Hah, yeah, his brother would know...

"Er, yeah, ghosts. Neither of you are also wizards right? You look really solid for ghosts if you don't mind my saying."

"No wizard, but ghosts are really more solid than I'm guessing the ghosts you face that are all transparenty like they are in movies. Ecto energy is good for making a lot of things, including making a ghost solid. We're also half ghost, though I'm not sure if that makes us anymore solid," Dani offered up.

...wait what?

"How can you be HALF a ghost? Did you almost die and then only partially escape from the maitre'd of purgatory somehow?"

"I can only explain a third of this, but Brainiac 5, the robot one, might be able to explain it further if you have questions I can't answer. I gave him a sample of my ecto to study," Dani said, glancing at Danny. "In case we could help with any stuff they can use ecto energy to power." She shrugged.

"Anyway...." Dani said, looking at Dr. McNinja and began her explanation which basically amounted to the point someone was near death, not quite dead, but to the point they have an out of body experience, and exposed to unnaturally high ecto energy, like from a ghost portal, the ecto energy will attach itself to that consciousness out of the body and be pulled into the human body when the cause of near death stopped. Which resulted in the body being infused with ecto energy and thus able to become a ghost when they willed it and a human again when they willed it.

Of course, Dani didn't know how to explain it that simply so it ended up having a lot of scientific probabilities, ectology theory, and a bunch of scientific jargon.

"I know that because the guy who made me from his DNA explained it when I asked and that's what he said," Dani finished, pointing to Danny.

And yet utterly cool at the same time, now that he thought about it. "But as long as you ain't crazy ghost wizards, dawg, I'm cool with ya."

"...Uhhuh." The sarcasm is almost palpable.

To his credit, Dark Smoke Puncher figured out the insult pretty quick. "Dawg, ninjas gotta live in secret, but that don't mean I don't feel the streets pumpin' in my veins, yo. I got heart, word. White on the outside don't make me a poser, just a black brotha on the inside."

Dark Smoke Puncher did not even look at McNinja, continuing to stare at Danny. He didn't respond to Sean, after all. Well, unless it was a dire situation type deal.

Mai straggled in with a yawn. Meeting. Hooray. She glanced around at everyone, then simply leaned against a wall, not bothering to introduce herself.

Oh but Mai! McNinja knows you are here! And he will do just about anything right now to take the focus off Sean being so.... Sean.

"Hey! New person! What's your name?"

And then she went back to cleaning her nails with a throwing knife.

Closely following Mai is Zuko, looking grumpy as always (and a little slimy from his latest vent-crawl).

"Zuko," he adds, leaning against the wall beside Mai.

"Hi Mai, hi Zuko. I'm Dani, but call me D. Since he's also Danny," Dani said, pointing to Danny. Might as well start with it now, right?

"What happened to you? You look like you got a hack job clean up after a pod pop," Dani asked, looking at Zuko.
