Janet fell on the bed as well and looked at Hank happily. "It is as good as the mansion, Hank." She scooted closed and rested a hand on his waist, her head just under his neck.

Hank smiled and put his arm around Janet's shoulders while nuzzling her. "Now that we're here, what do you want to do first? I promise no science while we're here."

"Dinner, see the sunset and some relaxation back in here?" Janet replied before giving him another loving kiss on his lips.

He happily kisses Janet back, moaning softly. "Sounds good...um, what sort of relaxation?" Hank asks curiously. "You mean like...a massage?"

Janet responds coyly, "You'll find out when we get back." She then sits up to adjust her clothes. "Shall we go and have our dinner?"

"Alright, this hotel has a restaurant, supposed to be five star, I think." Hank said as he stood and opened the door for Janet. "I can't wait to see what you have in mind for tonight. Shall we?"

[identity profile] volatile-vespa.livejournal.com 2011-10-16 01:34 am (UTC)(link)
Janet held his hand as they headed downstairs to the fancy restaurant. The waiter ushered them to a rather cozy and private corner of the restaurant and Janet could not help but marvel at the interior decoration. "Wow."

[identity profile] gi-ant-man.livejournal.com 2011-10-16 01:48 am (UTC)(link)
Hank was a bit overwhelmed as well. There were paintings hung and sparkling chandeliers and everything. "This was a lot more than I was expecting..." The waiter handed them their menus and Hank looked for something to order.

"So many dishes, do you see anything you like Janet?"

[identity profile] volatile-vespa.livejournal.com 2011-10-16 02:21 am (UTC)(link)
Janet opened the menu as well and was spoilt for choice. "I don't know, Hank. There are way too many dishes for me to choose."

Every time she thought she had a dish in mind, she would turn the page and find another dish that looked as decadent and delicious as the dish on the previous page.

"You know what? We should decide how many courses we should have first before making up our minds."

[identity profile] gi-ant-man.livejournal.com 2011-10-16 02:25 am (UTC)(link)
"I suppose we could at least have the main course and dessert. Maybe we should decide on drinks first." Hanks checks the drinks menu, though he did not recognize many of the choices.

"I think I'll have some ice tea, please."

[identity profile] volatile-vespa.livejournal.com 2011-10-16 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
"I suppose I'll have iced tea as well."

Janet then decided to go for the usual, 'safe' option and ordered steak. "Do you think we should share the dessert?"

[identity profile] gi-ant-man.livejournal.com 2011-10-16 02:42 am (UTC)(link)
Hank nodded and picked out his meal. "I'll have the seafood linguine, and for dessert, how about a banana split?" The waiter jotted down their orders and went off to retrieve them. Hank turned back to Janet and smiled.

"Well, I'm glad we picked this hotel."

[identity profile] volatile-vespa.livejournal.com 2011-10-16 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
"Me too. So this is a date, right?" Janet asked and her hand was placed at a conveniently close distance to Hank's.

[identity profile] gi-ant-man.livejournal.com 2011-10-16 03:15 am (UTC)(link)
"Heh, well, of course." Hank says, smiling and blushing and conveniently placing his hand on top of Janet's. "How am I doing on my first date?"

The waiter soon returned with their meals and placed the steaming hot food on the table, along with their drinks. The aroma was uplifting.

[identity profile] volatile-vespa.livejournal.com 2011-10-16 03:19 am (UTC)(link)
Janet cherished the warmth of his hand and smiled back. "You're doing well, dear."

She then slipped out of his hold to cut up her steak. "Wanna share? We can halve our portions for each other."

[identity profile] gi-ant-man.livejournal.com 2011-10-16 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
"Sure." Hank replied warmly as he carefully split his noodles into two piles. He rolls some around his fork and takes a bite, savoring the delicious shrimp and sauce.

"It's very, very good! Have some!"

[identity profile] volatile-vespa.livejournal.com 2011-10-16 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
She halved her steak and placed the meat on his plate before transferring the linguine onto hers. Janet twirled the pasta around her fork and ate it, nodding in agreement with Hank.

"Very delicious."

[identity profile] gi-ant-man.livejournal.com 2011-10-16 03:35 am (UTC)(link)
Hank had some steak, and it was just as good. They ate and drank together quite happily.

"How do you like living on the ship so far?" Hank asked her. "I got used to it pretty quickly, but I wanted to know how you were feeling about it."

[identity profile] volatile-vespa.livejournal.com 2011-10-16 03:43 am (UTC)(link)
"Everything's good since I'm living with you. At least you're still here so it isn't so bad."

Janet replied as she slowly finished her food. They spent their time discussing about their previous adventures with the Avengers and speculating how each one of them would react should they ever pop.

"I miss the team, Hank. It feels like a part of me is missing."

[identity profile] gi-ant-man.livejournal.com 2011-10-16 03:50 am (UTC)(link)
Hank frowned and held Janet's hand. "I know, I miss them too. But ever since you came back, I know that we'll see them again one day." It was then that the waiter came back with their banana split, covered in chocolate syrup. Hank takes a spoon and gives it to Janet.

"Here, you can have the first bite."

[identity profile] volatile-vespa.livejournal.com 2011-10-16 03:55 am (UTC)(link)
Janet took the spoon and ate the ice cream before offering a bite to her boyfriend. "It's cold but sweet like you."

[identity profile] gi-ant-man.livejournal.com 2011-10-16 04:07 am (UTC)(link)
"Thank you, Janet." Hank smiles and eats the ice cream. He spoons some and offers it to Janet as well. "I think you're sweeter though, like honey."

[identity profile] volatile-vespa.livejournal.com 2011-10-16 04:11 am (UTC)(link)
Janet ate the offered scoop of ice cream and blushes. "Since when did you learn to talk so sweetly?" She laughed and cut up the banana before mixing it with the cream and eating the starchy fruit.

[identity profile] gi-ant-man.livejournal.com 2011-10-16 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
"I don't know. Maybe it's just easier for me now that we're official." Hank replies and helping himself to some more. He looked out the nearby window to see the sun.

"Oh, let's finish in time to see the sunset. Can't miss that."

[identity profile] volatile-vespa.livejournal.com 2011-10-16 04:23 am (UTC)(link)
"Sure thing." They ate their dessert quickly and Janet called for the waiter as she took out her money pouch. "We should split the bill."
