Pleasure Boardwalk has rows upon rows of stores and bigger establishments! From games, to the hottest fashion, music, toys, shoes, vintage, hundreds of souvenir shops, books, food markets with the best of the best ingredients money could buy, even raw materials! cloth, ores, parts, electronics, you name it! If it could be sold, or bought? It was here. Enter the Pleasure Boardwalk, and you might be leaving with no credits to your name!

Shopping not your thing? How about entertainment?! Nightlife Bay has THE hottest in shows, concerts, dance clubs, movie theaters, and more! Looking for something more racy? Go to the Red Light Central where the more raunchy and adventurous head into for a night they'll never forget and possibly won't speak about in public!

Want to simply kick it for the night and relax? Maybe want somewhere to stay or spend a special night with a loved one, or maybe one of the people you met during your vacation? Go to Sunrise Hill and stay in the many hotels that Indulgence Cove has to offer! They come in a wide variety of themes, from fun and energetic, to soothing and relaxing! The staff will make sure you leave your worry and your money behind!

"Fine then, you suggest something fun to do," Marco said, giving up. (Well, for now. He wasn't going to completely give up on the Get Jake A Date plan just yet.) "Because dude, if you're not dancing I'm not going to sit around and watch you be 'aloof'."

"I didn't say you couldn't dance," Jake pointed out, "Just that I don't want to. Besides, they'll probably like you better than me."

"Okay dude, I know I'm awesome and all, but this whole putting yourself down thing really isn't cool," Marco said. Now he was the one worrying - this wasn't the first time Jake had talked like this, and Marco still found it unsettling.

"I wasn't putting myself down," Jake replied defensively, "I'm just not... social like you are. It's not bad or anything."

Marco gave Jake a look which made it pretty clear that he didn't believe. "Right, and the fact that you're still hung up over Cassie and keep blaming yourself for everything that happened during the war has nothing to do with it."

"Cassie and I drifted apart a long time ago, Marco," Jake replied quietly. Almost too quiet. "It's done. Maybe it could've turned out differently... but now?"

He shook his head and then went on, "Are you trying to psychoanalyze me?"

"No, I'm trying to stop you from being continuing to be a black hole that sucks the fun out of everything. Now, either you get up and actually do something fun, or I will be forced to go and tell Rachel that you want her to take you shopping tomorrow."

"I'm having fun. Really," Jake sinks a bit in his seat. "The music is nice."

It's a pathetic excuse and he knows that, but he really just wants Marco to stop talking about it. It's his burden to deal with, his burden to carry. One he's not sure he's every going to be able to put down.

"Yes, and you look so much like a guy who's having fun," Marco sighed. It never used to be like this. He didn't always have to force Jake into actually having a good time. "But dude, we don't have to hang around here. We could go and jump on some roller coasters instead or something."

Jake tried to smile. He succeeded. Mostly. "We could. At least here I don't have to worry about getting mobbed by the press. Or the bodyguards."

Yeah, there were a few things he didn't miss about being back home.

"Jake, come on. We're Animorphs. If we really don't want the press to find us, then they'd have no chance," Marco said. Not that he could actually remember dealing with the press, thanks to that clock. "Man, how come you get to remember being famous and I don't? The irony gods must have it out for me."
