In an area centered around a large stadium, Happy Happy Fun World's celebration of one of the multiverse's many popular pastimes sat. CAPTCHABEASTS: Hafta Claim 'Em All. A sport, and widespread multimedia franchise, where people caught little semi-sentient super powered animals and had them beat the crud out of each other.

Aside from Captchaland's Stadium, there were several other attractions. Musical Shows with singing Jinglyfluff's, a Merry-Go-Round where you could ride seats based on on some of the larger four-legged Captchabeasts instead of horses, Bumper Cars based on two teams of villains from the popular Captchabeasts animated holoshow, a Ferris Wheel with CaptchaCrate based cars, and a rollercoaster based on the legendary Skyzacoatl that looped over the stadium itself, among others.

If you were feeling particularly adventurous and competitive, or just wanted to watch a battle, there was the aforementioned stadium. Spectators went through the main entrance, while a smaller doorway was reserved for competitors.

"Alright, use Hydro Pump once more!"

"Pipluuuuuuup!" The mini-black hole of water reappeared and soon enough, Greymon would find a large blast of water aimed right for his face.

"Mega Flame!" exclaimed Greymon, heaving a blast of fire in response. Hopefully this was strong enough to cut through that water.

The only thing the fire colliding with the water did was create a mini-explosion followed by steam covering the field and obstructing both Digimon and Pokemon from view!

For her part, Dawn didn't look the least bit worried.

Neither did Taichi as the steam parted and Agumon stood there, panting on his knees. "Uncle!" exclaimed Agumon, groaning as he went to his knees.

"We won...? WE WON!"

Dawn cheered excitedly, running up to Piplup and picking the Penguin-type up happily. "Congratulations, Piplup; we won, and it was all thanks to you. You were great out there!"

"Piplup Pip~!"

"Pretty good!" exclaimed Taichi, going over and helping Agumon up. "Didn't expect you to win. Your partner's really powerful."

"Thank you very much!" Dawn replied happily, motioning to Piplup who stood tall and proud. "We've been together since the start of my journey."

"Piplup!"

"Agumon was fantastic! The way he just evolved...and can go back to being Agumon without having to stay as Greymon! That's not how Pokemon evolutions happen."

"Same with Agumon and I." admitted Taichi.

"You can't evolve with your partners power then?" inquired Agumon.

Dawn laughed sheepishly before shaking her head. "We can, but it's a one-way street. Once they evolve, they can't go back to their previous form."

"That makes sense. With digimon you can run out of power doing so." said Taichi. "It's a two-way street for us."

Dawn nodded while suddenly realzing something. "Taichi...do your friends have Digimon, too?"

"Most of them yes. My sister, and a bunch of the newcomers do too. Although I have a few friends here who aren't from our world."

"That's amazing! I've got at least one of my friends here, too. You might've seen him on your way over - Ash Ketchum; he's got a Pikachu with him."

"I'll have to look around then, and see about meeting more people." Taichi grinned. "Good match. Want to get something to eat?"

"Sure! I'm sure Piplup's starving, and Agumon could use a good meal too."

"Great! Let's get going then. There's a food stand nearby. I hear they have food on sticks."
