YAMATO SECTOR
In an island area of the park is the sometimes staid, sometimes festive Yamato Sector (which seemed strangely familiar to some of the crew, no doubt). Souvenir swords? Okonomiyaki? Sunset beaches filled with the SPRINGTIME OF OUR YOUTH? Medieval warlords drinking wine from human (shaped) skulls? They're all here!

"Hn. Maybe." Tim frowned, disappointed that Zouichi was bringing that back up. He takes another drink before answering. "I just... don't. It's not in the repertoire of skills I've been trained in." Then, he asked, "And what about you? Any plans to go up there?"
no subject
Because Nelly had covered that one pretty well and"You need to be trained in order to do it? I admit, I'm a little surprised at you -- I thought you were the sort of person who'd be prepared for any contingency." He tipped his glass a little, letting the liquid inside slide around. "I might be convinced to. Although the number of songs I know is fairly limited."

"I understand Auto-Tune is actually rather looked down upon. Besides, what happens if your gadgets don't work someday? Or someone steals your belt?" And this was coming from someone who loved hiding little tools around on his person. They were just usually a little more lethal than Tim's.
"I think someone's making excuses."

Only when he's drawn by Liefeld"I never said it was an acceptable alternative," he said. "At any rate, I have plenty of training to back up my gadgets, since I know I won't always have them." He shrugged, moving to eat more, realising he hadn't done so in a few minutes.
"And it sounds like someone's trying to provoke me," he jibbed, and smiled coyly. "Why don't you show me what you've got then? I'll stay here to cheer you on."

LIEFEEEELD"Ah, so you can sing. And I may be persuaded to give it a try. After I watch you finish your drink, of course. Not that I don't trust you to keep your word." You're not getting out of it that easily, Tim.

Yep, not buying it.

After all, two could play at the find-a-loophole game.

Zouichi downed the last of his drink.

"All right. Question time. Or song time."
no subject
"Can you--" he stopped. "Maybe I should save the question. I don't think I can think of a good one right now." That was... an uncomfortable feeling. He pushed himself to his feet, leaning on the counter slightly. Okay, maybe a lot. "So songs. I guess. But you have to go first, if I'm going to do this." And why did it even seem remotely like a good idea? Ah well.

So congratulations, Tim. You were getting the full version of this song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4V8d7sG-yI). As sung by a Synthetic Human that sounded like this guy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnMhwivc-Hk). Actually, Zouichi was pretty good. It was just... a little weird listening to him sing, that was all.
It was a song about a woman wistfully recalling the day she'd first met a man she loved... but he was married. Alas.

Once Zouichi was done the song though, he nodded his approval, offering a "not bad."
no subject
Yep.
Expectantly.

He straightened up, with a little effort, before he made his way up.
So Tim did a rendition of a Green Day song because he had flawless taste in music. The length? Definitely because Tim was still a cheater. He wasn't a bad singer, but then again... it was also difficult to keep up his typical Red Robin gravel voice after drinking and while singing. Therefore, he started to slip back into his natural voice-- just slightly lower than this.

Together.

"You're kidding, right?" he managed out, still speaking more naturally. Steadying himself, he said, "But I'm not doing anything soprano."
((ooc: ... actually you know what. I think that clip is closer in tone than I first decided.))

"Besides, it's something we should both know."
