The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. They are also told they must read information about their current situation and a survival guide with their new omnicom. New crew-mates might see a tall dragonish guy with wings (but don't call him that) and purple girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

Bight looked from one to the other as they spoke for the moment, nodding in acknowledgment at the time from which Linsha was from, "Of which I find myself grateful," He replied with a warm smile to her, he didn't want to think what would have happened had she been from during the war, or even as far back as her time as part of the Clandestine circle investigating he himself.

"Indeed, I have seen these more advanced weapons in use, though only the larger can compare to the might a mage can wield," Or a dragon, but he let that go without saying given current company as a thought occurred, "Kang, perhaps Linsha could be of assistance with the warfare training that you conduct? In turn, Linsha, you could learn the use of firearms and other more advanced weapons when they are taught, during those warfare training sessions if I am not mistaken,"

Before Kang could even offer to teach Linsha, Bight had already suggested it. He nodded, "I would be happy to teach you, and to have you assist with training. I've been meaning to start those classes up again, but not having much luck in finding someone with an... agreeable style for a partner. My previous one was put back in the pods a while back." He'd liked Ronon, and considered him to be a good friend; he'd been perfect as a partner, not being afraid to get hurt and never going easy on any of the students.

"Wow, I would be happy to!" Linsha was very glad to find a person who would help her with these tasks, and that person turned to be from her own world. "Training is necessary both for seasoned fighters and for newbies, and it will help me to meet more of the people here. So Lord Kang, if you accept me as your assistant in your training sessions, I would be very grateful. And you yourself can teach me these fireguns or whatever they are called, right?" If Kang has already mastered the advanced technology weapons, then they wouldn't be too difficult to learn.

Of course no weapon can compare to the might of a dragon, she thought back to Lord Bight. But if we unite the power of advanced weapons and yours in a fight, the result would be... overwhelming. For the Ohm, at least. I think so.

Bight inclined his head as Kang proved willing for the offer to train and for Linsha to assist him in the training, that would prove quite the interesting combination as he thought on it idly, a draconian and a Solamnic knight training others together. Stranger times indeed had been seen, "She has shown the Governor's Guards, my personal guard, more than a thing or two in her time,"

Letting them talk on the offer of assistance in training and of training in the more advanced technologies available as he responded to her mental comment, Indeed, few weapons a man can carry could compare, but indeed I have seen such weapons in action, they would prove of far greater use than a bow or crossbow from dragon back, he thought back to her, indeed he had seen such weapons in action in such a situation from Kang's own daughter when he had ridden upon his back during the battle recently past.

"...I think you would get along with my mate; she's quite skilled as well. And, firearms," Kang corrected. "Guns are a type of firearm. The title isn't necessary, either; you can just call me Kang when I'm not on Council business."

He'd had a bit of an advantage in learning how to use firearms, having false memories forced on him that included 21st century Earth military training. It wasn't all that difficult, though, and he didn't expect Linsha to struggle much, if any.

It was crazy. To learn the advanced weapons from a draconian and to use them from the back of a dragon. Add it in the cauldron that the draconian hated dragons and didn't know he was friendlily talking to one. Linsha was absolutely sure that as soon as Kang knows the truth about Lord Bight, any partnership between Kang and herself would come to its end. Kang wouldn't forgive either Lord Bight or her for their lies. Suddenly, her well-being was depending on how long and how well Crucible would be able to conceal his double identity. Of course he was a virtuose liar if he wanted to, but the idea of depending on his lie was disconcerting. Still, so far, just playing along seemed the best option.

"All right, Lord... that is, Kang," Linsha smiled. "Thank you greatly. I don't think I could want anything better for now. Fire-arms,"she repeated."Guns. All right, let's talk the details over later, I will only be happy to visit a Krynnish-style tavern." It would definitely be a pleasant experience.
