The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. They are also told they must read information about their current situation and a survival guide with their new omnicom. New crew-mates might see a tall dragonish guy with wings (but don't call him that) and purple girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

"Aye, well. It's not as though it was a real wedding," Jamie grumbles, setting the canteen down in case the Doctor decides he wants a drink after all. He tucks his thumbs behind his belt and looks up at the Time Lord. Just once, he thinks, it would be nice if the Doctor was his proper height. He's even taller than Jamie remembered him being last time.

"It was for a mission, and we had to go through the ceremony in order to gain access to the city where the artifact was kept. That's all."

Well, the Doctor was certainly thirsty. After all, being in those pods for who knows how long was daunting - and not entirely comfortable, either. He grabbed the canteen and took a nice, long drink while Jamie talked.

"Aah, I see," he said after consuming the water. Now he was much better. "Mission or not, it had to be fun!"

"Oh, aye. Fun," Jamie says dryly. "If by fun ye mean 'Get painted all over and then go visit a strange bug race that thinks you're some sort of leader because of your kilt'."

Well, okay, that last part wasn't quite so bad - he does like Captain Eneesh. But he also likes to complain sometimes, even if he secretly thinks something is all right.

"Look, it doesn't really matter. We were able to get the key to find the Tapestry, and that's what we needed to do. At least nothing went wrong that time. Now, I've not been able to find Victoria in here yet, so did ye want to come back to the house in the City with me and I'll see if she's there?"

Well, the Doctor's idea of fun is much different than Jamie's sense of fun. Still, he does listen to him and nods every so often.

"Ah, Victoria's here!" he said, finishing the water that was in the canteen as he nodded to the Scot. "Of course I would! I want to see how Victoria's doing after all this time - have you two been well as far as things go?"

"Come on, then," Jamie says, starting to head towards the exit to the Obs Deck - and leaving the Doctor with the empty canteen in the process. He'll get it back later.

As they walk, he says, "She's not been awake too long. It was at the last one of these...ah, no, sorry. There was one in between when she woke up and now, but that was a special case. She's still trying to adjust, and I'd say it's not been so easy."

There's a slight note of concern in his tone. It's not quite the outright worry over her that he's had in the past, but then again, things are more or less stable here - at least, for the moment.

"Ye might have gathered that people've been rescued from different times here." Jamie has to think that that one's pretty obvious. After all, the proof is right there walking next to the Time Lord, kilt and all. "Victoria's not from the last time we saw her. The last thing she says she remembers was going back to the TARDIS after we fought the Cybermen on Telos. She doesn't know about the Yeti or the Intelligence or Salamander...not any of it."
