Meat n' Greet

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. They are also told they must read information about their current situation and a survival guide with their new omnicom. New crew-mates might see a tall dragonish guy with wings (but don't call him that) and purple girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

"Really? All right!" You're trapped now, Red. TRAPPED FOREVER. "I'll try and think up the perfect weapon for you, eventually!"

She tried to visualize what Red was explaining. "You'll have to draw me a picture or something! Maybe I can replicate it if it wasn't down where the rest of those weapons are." Of course, Miyuki didn't know about the hangar or anything, either, nor did she know if Red took good enough looks to potentially find it.

OH NO. Not that Red knew what he was getting himself into... Instead, he gave a grin in response, "Great! I'll be looking forward to it!"

Unfortunately, Red wasn't the best at drawing. Or anything creative. If he knew any better, some information about his homeland, as well as the machines that existed there may be in the media library by now, but he knew very little of the ship. Although, he would end up finding his Dahak at the hangar later on.

"Uh... I'm not good with drawin' stuff, so I dunno if I can draw Dahak..." Red then said with a small laugh.

"Oh, well that's okay," she said proudly. "I bet I could make something like it anyway based on a description, with a little extra Miyuki flare!" She put her hands on her hips.

"Hey, did you find any of your friends around here?"

"Hmm... Nope, not yet." Red replied with a small sigh, looking a little disappointed. "It would have been awesome if any of them were here, but seems like no one saw them around."

Then he decided he should ask her as well. "Have you seen a pink dog-girl named Chocolat and a gray cat-person called Elh? They're both really close friends of mine."

"You have cat people, too?" That was kind of awesome. Miyuki wondered what else they had.

"I haven't, though. At least, not yet! There were an awful lot of people down in those pods, so who knows who else was down there?"

"Yep! Only dog-people and cat-people generally, but all of us look different." Like how there were different breeds.

"Haha... That's true. Well, if they were already awake they'd probably find me by now." Red replied. It really was hard to tell what was what back there. He then decided he should ask the question back too. "Have you seen anyone you know?"

Breeds were the first thing she thought of when he said that, too. She wondered if they had weenie-dog-people, and how they might have looked if they did. Long bodies and short limbs? That was a funny visual image.

"Yup! My friend Shion was down there with me. I was getting worried for a while, there!"

They possibly would have been really short dog-people, as far as the mun knew.

"That's great to hear!" Red replied with a grin. Well, he was a bit sat that his friends weren't around, but he was genuinely happy for other people to be able to meet up again.
