The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. They are also told they must read information about their current situation and a survival guide with their new omnicom. New crew-mates might see a tall dragonish guy with wings (but don't call him that) and purple girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

Azula chuckled, and then laughed but it was a little too loud to be normal. "Everyone comes here looking for someone. Especially new people." And sorry Karina but you were so obviously new it could be written on your forehead.

She adjusted the bag on her shoulder, heavy with her costume. What was with this person? Did someone spit in her cereal this morning? "I never said I was looking for anyone, new or not. That's a rather rude assumption to make when I have obviously been minding my own business." Karina felt her temper flare up for a minute and worked it back down to something reasonable.

She certainly didn't have to take this from anyone.

Azula blinked surprised by the hostility and then smiled a crooked smile.

"Rude? Really? Are you that offended by the concept that you might be looking for a friend? Or some family? Or your lover?" The last word played on her lips like honey. "You've just been told your entire world has been destroyed and you are suddenly in some kind of living beast of technology and plantlife. You are surrounded by strangers, of coarse. Why would you be looking for anyone you knew? How rude of me."

"I'm offended by your assuming something that you have no business assuming. So, thanks. Bye." Karina turned and started to walk away through the crowd.
