Meat n' Greet
The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.
Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. They are also told they must read information about their current situation and a survival guide with their new omnicom. New crew-mates might see a tall dragonish guy with wings (but don't call him that) and purple girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.
There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.
[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

Thousands of scents swirled about him like the colors of a painting (which considering dogs are colorblind was an interesting thought) People he knew, people he didn't, food, in some cases even emotions.

If the bloodhound didn't clear a path in the people around the obs deck, Kotetsu's loud screaming certainly would.

Kotetsu's expression had been steadily sinking as there was no sign of Kaede, nor anyone else he knew yet. He frowned sharply, gritting his teeth together and shaking his head.
"She's really still stuck in those nasty goo pods? Oh, Kaede..."

"Look at it this way dude, she's in the safest place in Stacy. And we're out here on the front lines keeping the big bad bugs from getting in. Soon enough we'll have our worlds back." He put a gloved hand on Kotetsu's shoulder, "And her Daddy will be the big hero who made it all happen. Powers or none."

He folded his arms over his chest and sighed. "She doesn't even know I'm a Hero. She'll probably think it was Bunny who did it. But, as long as she's really safe..."

Kotetsu grumbled, then turned to Beastboy and finally extended his hand. "Anyway. I'm Kotetsu T. Kaburagi. Though since everybody seems so open about this kind of thing, you should also get to know me by my other name..."
He turned around, fumbled for a moment, then turned back to Beastboy with a black and white domino mask over his eyes.
"The Crusher for Justice, Wild Tiger!"

"DUDE! I knew there was something about you. Awesome! And that name!" He transformed into a massive green Tiger for a moment to let out a roar of approval before shifting back.

"Yesss!" he cheered triumphantly at the tiger transformation. "WILD TIGER! THE INCREDIBLE VETERAN HERO! That's me! H-have you heard of me?"

"I haven't. There's only 8 Heroes in Sternbild, but I don't know how many there are elsewhere in the world..."

"We've got tons of heroes here, obviously. And everyone's really awesome in one way or another. Mad scientists, wizards, kung-fu masters, old fashioned vikings too! And we've got state of the art training places, really cool ships and weapons. About the only thing we don't have is good food."
Despite the dire situation surrounding it all, Beastboy did love Stacy if only for the sci-fi adventure part of it.
