Reflections of time amidst a flurry of arrows [Open]
Kate had done a patrol in the city earlier, and she debated on stopping by the Media library for something to watch. Something to distract her from the encounter with Ir.. no, *Nathanial*. Otherwise now mini-Kang in the making. All that work he did, everything to stop it, and asking for their help. Well, mainly Eli, Teddy, and Billy's help since Cassie and her came late into the game there. Still. They tried to help too. Until they found out what that help would mean.
She sighed, and her steps took her to the Sensoriums. But she wasn't going to use it for sentimental reasons. Oh no. Even if the surroundings resembled the training room of the Clubhouse, it was for function and practice. Not to get lost in nostalgia, there's a clear difference as she sighted her target and fired another arrow.
Wasn't there?

"Soo... um. Ok." What now. She thought he was cute when she first saw him, ok, more than just cute. And the wolf only added to the wild, dangerous and sexy part. But he's also funny, and kind of sweet, and caring, and brave...
She gave a small laugh, and murmured, "God, you're sexy... I mean, let me start over. So I like you, ok, seriously like you. Um..." Damn why the hell is it so hard to talk around him?

He felt... incredibly happy. Energetic. He couldn't really restrain it (nor did he want to), so he just let that feeling of joy spread over him. He reached out a hand tentatively towards her, while he tried to find the right words, "Well... I like you. I mean- uh, well, you're sort of awesome with the whole arrows thing, not to mention... you're pretty cool. You know where I come from, with this whole... hero... saving the world, thing. You're... you look great, even with the weird living plantsuit. I mean, seriously."

She laughed again, brighter tones and longer this time.
"Both heroes who like each other. And you really like the archery? I could show you more about it. And you like how I look? Even with the creepy pulsating plantsuit?"
no subject
"Well, you're more of a hero then I am, y'know? And, yeah it's interestin'. Useful skill like that, good to know."
He cocked his head in mock-examination, "...yep, yeah. I'd say so."

She gave him a puzzled look, "I'm not any more of a hero than a lot of people. Including you. Why? You protect your world too."
Her face did blush again at the last comment though.

He shrugged, looking a bit awkward, "Because... you guys actually go out and do the saving people thing. I'm just fightin' a war."
He paused and shook his head, "Look, just forget I said anythin', alright?"
The blush made him grin and he leaned over to giver her another soft kiss.

Crap, crap, can't think about that now. Need to survive this first.
"So? Didn't you say that the Wyrm were bad for everybody? So by stopping them you are saving people."
no subject
He shifted his weight from one leg to the other, then back again, "Guess that's true. Dunno 'bout stopping them, though. Anyway... Uh. Well, 'm happy about this."
He flashed a grin.
no subject
"Me too. Want to stay here or walk somewhere?" She was fine either way as along they could stay like this a little longer.
no subject
He glanced towads the door, then back at Kate, "I'm fine with just stayin' here for a bit."
no subject
No reason to be in a hurry, and they shouldn't get interrupted for a few more minutes, right?
no subject
And no, of course not. Who else would want to walk in here?
