Holes and Patches [OPEN FREE FOR ALL]
After the battle, the warriors' task was over. Their job, for now, was to rest and recover for the time being.
The healers' job, on the other hand, was far from over. Some exhausted from the battle, others rotating in, they took to their bay and continued the process of treating the wounded. Some patients were free to leave in a few minutes, while others would have some time (or quite some time) on the cots. Their mission: relax. Stay as still as possible.
Unfortunately, the temptation of so many familiar faces alive and about would ultimately prove to be too great. Keeping track of this group was going to be a third task all its own.
[this is a free for all for all your injured! Have them socialize, be thorns in the medics' side, try to escape, or bring the medics together for some action. Just note in your post if you'd like a medic to visit your character---if not, it's time for a chat!]

Re: Red Robin | Open
Clearly self-healing biological armor was the way to go"So what happened?"
Re: Red Robin | Open
"The Ohm being several sizes too large happened," he said flatly. "Not to mention the saboteurs. Still, what I sustained seems to have been relatively minor."

"I'd say the Ohm got the worse end of that deal. I'm making the rounds visiting the helpless invalids."
no subject
Another near laugh from Tim, before he commented, "You're in the wrong place, then. I'm a bit far removed from 'invalid' right now."
no subject
"I did run into one of the new Ohm types, though. Interesting how quickly they adapted to the capabilities of the spacecraft from the last battle."
no subject
Growing more serious, he nodded. "A sign of adaptability and intelligence," he commented. "Not to mention more going on in the background." Then, he shook his head, "And the appearance of these 'Catastrophists' is troubling."
no subject
About the Catastrophists, he merely shrugged. "Sinister end of the world cult spawns a bunch of crazed terrorists? Call me when they start tying helpless damsels to the train tracks."
He hadn't been particularly impressed with what he'd seen, obviously.

He frowned, and narrowed his eyes just slightly at Zouichi under the cowl. "I'm not so willing to take them lightly. The manipulation is clear, and they do have resources and abilities. Zealots and fanatics can be dangerous."
no subject
If he was bothered by Tim's expression, he didn't show it. "Sure they can. But so can anyone else -- the people aboard the ship, for that matter. I'm more worried about the Daligig presence we'll be seeing shortly."
After all, the Daligig knew how the ship worked; they held all the cards. And who knew what they were going to do to the ship under the guise of 'maintenance'? In contrast, the Catastrophists were terrorists that blew themselves up and cackled about the end of the world. And a nice, big slice of Zouichi's job had been unceremoniously killing terrorists. Priorities!

"We'll have to prepare for that," Tim said, finally. "I doubt the crew that trust them rank very high in numbers." For his own part, he'd be using his positions to keep an eye on them and what, exactly the altered-- though their higher understanding of the ship would, in fact, be a hindrance.

Then he looked at the state of Tim's costume. "Is someone going to fix that for you?"
no subject
Thoughtfully, he used his good arm to touch the torn portion of his cowl, then shook his head. "I figured I'd just fix it up myself."
no subject
"So you're a seamstress, too? I didn't know you could sew."
no subject
Tim grimaced at that, just slightly. "Frankly? Not that well. I learnt enough for basic repair."
