After the battle, the warriors' task was over. Their job, for now, was to rest and recover for the time being.

The healers' job, on the other hand, was far from over. Some exhausted from the battle, others rotating in, they took to their bay and continued the process of treating the wounded. Some patients were free to leave in a few minutes, while others would have some time (or quite some time) on the cots. Their mission: relax. Stay as still as possible.

Unfortunately, the temptation of so many familiar faces alive and about would ultimately prove to be too great. Keeping track of this group was going to be a third task all its own.

[this is a free for all for all your injured! Have them socialize, be thorns in the medics' side, try to escape, or bring the medics together for some action. Just note in your post if you'd like a medic to visit your character---if not, it's time for a chat!]

"I'm not a kid anymore, Hoshi," he retorts, with a decidedly cranky tone in his voice. There's a sigh, then, and he continues, much more apologetically. "Och, I'm sorry. I just...I don't like these places."

And he doesn't like waiting, especially when he thinks he'll be perfectly fine and there's people here he needs to see.

"Are ye all right, though? That fight..." He shakes his head. "I thought we were done more than once during it."

"Sorry. Trying to bring up the atmosphere around here," she replies quietly, fidgeting as comfortably with her fingers as possible. But, she raises her head and gives Jamie the same smile she was giving him beforehand. "It's okay - it's like I said, I'm trying to raise spirits up in here."

Hoshi gives some thought about it before nodding. "I thought the same, but I wasn't gonna give up without a stellar fight on my part. You guys did awesome with the Zords, I have to admit."

"We'd not have been able to do it with ye and...er, what is it the others call themselves? Riders?"

He thinks that's it, but he's not entirely he's gotten it just right. Billy would know, but he's likely off somewhere getting looked at as well. He makes a mental note to track him down later.

"Ye all fought quite well together. I'd not realized ye were part of such a formidable team."

"Yeah, we're called Riders. Kamen Rider is the official title, but Riders suffices well enough."

She relaxes into the bed, feeling slightly tired. However, she is going to continue the conversation as long as it could be.

"And, heh... Thank you. The Rangers were wonderful, too. In fact, everyone who fight did excellently."

Riders it'll be, then. Jamie nods in agreement, then shifts to a slightly more comfortable position. Or tries to. There don't seem to be too many of those available to him at the moment.

"Aye, but I wish Lash hadn't gotten it into her head to do what she did." He looks over at Hoshi, not even bothering to hide his worried expression. "Have ye heard anything about how she's doing?"

There are various reasons why Hoshi did not like hospitals: Not being able to find a comfy place to sit or lay down in sucked. It's comparable to laying on a bed filled with stones.

"I wish so, too. After we got back on to the ship, I had help to get her to the med bay due to my wrist and waited to see if she'd be okay. Other than that, not really." A rare frown crosses her face, her face scrunched in worry.

Jamie sighs. He had been hoping that she had gotten some information since she had been the one to bring Lash to Medbay. But things are always chaotic after a battle, and realistically he knows that it would be difficult for anyone to try and find out what was going on after someone's been sent for treatment.

It doesn't stop him from worrying, though, and he starts to push himself up off the chair. "Right. I'll go find out what's going on, then."

Hoshi glances back up at Jamie and shook her head. "You need to rest, Jamie," she replies with even her own voice sounding exhausted.

"I'll go, okay? I've gotten patched up for the most part, so I'm able to get around."

"No," he replies, a stubborn note creeping into his voice even as he finishes getting to his feet. He saw how exhausted she was even during the fight, and he's not about to let her talk him out of going.

"Ye need to rest as much as I do, if not more. All I have are bruises and a few wee cuts. Besides, Lash is part of my team. I'm the one who's responsible for her."

"... Together, then?" Hey, it was a compromise. And, unfortunately for you, Jamie, Hoshi was pretty stubborn herself.

Yeah, she was tired, but she still had a little bit of fight left in her to go.

For a moment, it looks as though he's going to try and protest, but he realizes the longer they argue back and forth over it, the longer it'll take to find Lash.

"Fine, as long as ye think ye can keep up."

"You don't need to tell me twice," Hoshi says, getting up and walking over to him.

Admittedly, she had a bit of a limp, but Lash was more of a priority than she was right now.

Jamie's lips press together as he takes in that limp, but he doesn't say anything. Instead, he slows his pace enough that Hoshi doesn't have to overly strain herself - and he doesn't have to, either.

Once that's done, it's off to try and track down Lash - or someone who can at least let them know what's going on.
