Lirath - Ship Survival

As the battle raged outside, those remaining aboard Stacy had their hands full preparing for the incoming flood of refugees.

Positioned near the Bleed-Gate orbiting Lirath, Stacy stood ready to receive the refugees. Ship after ship ascended as quickly as they could, some of them making a break for the Bleed-Gate itself while the smaller ships were forced to dock at Stacy, unloading their cargo of refugees before setting off again for the planet's surface again to take on more passengers.

Several small units of GIA soldiers were also sent up to help the Transmigration crew take in the massive amount of refugees, many of whom were tired, wounded, and scared. It wouldn't take long for the ship to begin filling with people.

With the battle raging outside, and the Ohm clambering outside, trying to get in, it would be a tall order to keep all of the refugees safe and calm, but the crew didn't have much choice.

Rapunzel. Why was she not surprised? She shook her head, moving over with ease to help Ruffnut tie some more of the wounded with the hair, still hardly believing anyone's hair could be this strong. She looked over at Ruffnut, noting the injuries and shaking her head.

"Hit girl," she said. "Why's your hair so long anyway?"

And here she thought her name was odd. Maybe not. "It's nice to meet you Ruffnut and Hitgirl. Wish it was under better circumstances, but..." She shrugged and gave a meek smile, watching as the remaining bodies were added to her length of hair. Then of course came the comment and question regarding her hair, something that was bound to come up eventually.

"It's ... a long story." No pun intended, either.

"Heh...I get it." Apparently Ruffnut liked the unintended pun.

"Friggin weirdos," Hit Girl grunted, all too aware of the pun. She never liked them: they were stupid. It was like when dad had made that pun about Kick Ass being Ass kicked or whatever.

Ugh. No time to think about dad, no way.

"Come on, let's keep going! We're lucky enough not to have any cultists on our asses yet!"

Ah, right. The cultists. She almost forgot that even if things were going smoothly, the dangers were still very present. All it would take was one single move to turn this rescue into a battle.

"Then we better get going. Is everyone tied on securely?"

Ruff had actually tied herself to the hair net to give herself more pull to work with. "Ready!" And without warning she began to pull, throwing her weight into the process.
