Lirath - Ship Survival

As the battle raged outside, those remaining aboard Stacy had their hands full preparing for the incoming flood of refugees.

Positioned near the Bleed-Gate orbiting Lirath, Stacy stood ready to receive the refugees. Ship after ship ascended as quickly as they could, some of them making a break for the Bleed-Gate itself while the smaller ships were forced to dock at Stacy, unloading their cargo of refugees before setting off again for the planet's surface again to take on more passengers.

Several small units of GIA soldiers were also sent up to help the Transmigration crew take in the massive amount of refugees, many of whom were tired, wounded, and scared. It wouldn't take long for the ship to begin filling with people.

With the battle raging outside, and the Ohm clambering outside, trying to get in, it would be a tall order to keep all of the refugees safe and calm, but the crew didn't have much choice.

Kaya looked around. There were still so many people that needed to be attended to, she should have been yelling at Rapunzel to stop being silly and go help them. But truthfully, she was still very beaten and tender, and what kind of person was she if she didn't give her own staff the chance to try and help her take care of others?

So no words needed to be said. Kaya went to the seat and sat quietly.

"Ask me anything you want to after this is over, okay?" She stated, more like direct orders herself while lacking the tone of authority to say it. Taking the ends of her hair, Rapunzel began to lightly wrap closest to where she sustained the most scrapes. Her eyes kept focus on that area while ignoring any strange looks given her way for doing this, she knew how weird this would look to anyone who didn't understand.

After kneeling beside her and releasing a sigh, her eyes finally closed as the words to the enchanted melody began to flow.

"Flower gleam and glow, let your power shine..."

To be singing at a time like this may have been strange for some, but the reason behind it made itself known the moment the roots from the top of her head began to glow. That golden aura didn't stop there and slowly began to travel through the course of her hair.

"Sure," Kaya said softly, still very much exhausted from everything happening. If Rapunzel said she had a way of helping her, she was curious to see it. The orderly tone was interesting, certainly not something that the girl seemed to issue too often, but she relented, curious to see where this thing with her hair was going.

And then the song started, and Kaya was actually captivated a moment, amazed at hos pretty the words were, how they weighed heavily on her heart at this moment. Yet even as this happened, she felt a change in her too: she felt stronger, felt some of her tension easing.

Ad then her eyes widened as she saw the hair. "Wh...how..."

As the words to the melody were sung, the power of the flower instilled within her hair restored every scratch, every bruise, and whatever strength was lost. Rapunzel was able to heal what has been hurt and save what had been lost. Her eyes were kept closed the entire time, focusing on the short melody until the last few words were sung. Gradually the glow to her hair began to fade back to its original blonde hue, the traces of magic that flowed through earlier once more dormant.

Hoping that somehow she had done a world of good by doing this, Rapunzel gently unwrapped her hair from around her arm and gave a slight smile. "You should get back to work. They need you!" She exclaimed, then quickly jumped to her feet to return to her own work, hoping to avoid any looks or further questioning. As she said earlier, that would have to wait until later.

There was a moment where Kaya was actually spellbound: she should have expected it, having been someone who had been on the giving end of something like this, but it had never happened in this way. She could only stare open mouthed a moment, looking flabbergasted. Se had about a million questions to ask Rapunzel, all on the tip of her tongue but the girl was already off.

She shook her head and got up, moving her legs to continue working again. She rubbed feeling back into her legs, and found she felt much better, and smiled despite herself. It was still grueling work, and she was still feeling a little bit low, but now at least she could go on without the wounds. Moments later, she would get Nokosi's letter and feel even better."
