Lirath - Ship Survival

 As the battle raged outside, those remaining aboard Stacy had their hands full preparing for the incoming flood of refugees.

Positioned near the Bleed-Gate orbiting Lirath, Stacy stood ready to receive the refugees. Ship after ship ascended as quickly as they could, some of them making a break for the Bleed-Gate itself while the smaller ships were forced to dock at Stacy, unloading their cargo of refugees before setting off again for the planet's surface again to take on more passengers.

Several small units of GIA soldiers were also sent up to help the Transmigration crew take in the massive amount of refugees, many of whom were tired, wounded, and scared. It wouldn't take long for the ship to begin filling with people.

With the battle raging outside, and the Ohm clambering outside, trying to get in, it would be a tall order to keep all of the refugees safe and calm, but the crew didn't have much choice.

"Dude, don't ask me to try to understand retards. They're apparently into some cult or whatever that makes them think everyone should die or whatever. To be honest? All I care about is making sure less of us die than needed. I guess I'm just going to have to get used to people on this ship playing hero, but if I have to, I'm making sure I bust heads in our favor."

"Nice to know we have a goal." Ruffnut muttered sarcastically. But it was all in good fun. If she wasn't going to be slugging it out with the Ohm directly she was glad she could at least be working with her friend.

"Pfft, since when do you need a reason to go around kicking some ass?" Hit Girl said, giving her partner a good natured kick in the leg. "I say its about time we get to move around and show the overlord how awesome we are. Pf course, it'd be easier if he was here, but you can't have everything."

"He knows we're awesome." Ruff counted examining her nails in a nonchalant manner, "And we know we're awesome..." This was half a lie because she still hadn't totally built herself back up from the last mission, "It's just a matter of getting everyone else to know."

"Exactly," Hit Girl said. "And we're gonna continue to show that shit once we make sure we can handle something like this on our own too. Whatever happens, we have to be on alert. One toe out of place, we have to put it down. I dunno why, but I'm kinda starting to get the feeling this mission is going to go south pretty quick in our favor."
