How long had it been since Negi could truly cut loose? It had been quite a long time and Chamo and Barry were looking out for one another.

Stepping into the sensoriums, Negi looked over at the recreation of the Gravekeeper's Palace floating overhead. He could remember most of it, from regaining his memories of the attack that ruined the magical world and earth in a simultaneous blow, but stepping forward was Fate, the pale haired boy giving him a silent look.

The pair stared at each other for a long moment, and then seconds later, exploded into energy. Fists crashed against each others cheeks in a cross-counter as they skidded backwards.

"Come, Negi. Show me your plan." intoned Fate.

Negi grinned as his form changed, invoking his most powerful ability. His hair fanned out and became a long pink swathe of hair as his body glowed in a brilliant pink light as he shot forward, Fate coming to meet him in a devastating blow. The sound of violence could DEFINITELY be heard from behind the door in the sensorium, as the pair rained blow after blow down in a dizzying volley.

Sasami chuckled at that. "Why should I? It was just a bunch of mistakes, that's all!" she said, smiling. Granted, though, part of her did want to, but not in that 'rawr, get off me pervert' way.

"True. I'm just used to girls hitting me or exclaiming I'm in the bath which seems to be code for come molest your teacher," he explained, rolling his eyes.

Sasami let out a small groan. At least her family - well, the one she had before being stuck on this ship - was much more civilized than that. But, what can you say? Teenagers...

"Well... at least you won't be hearing that from me?" she said, grinning sheepishly.

He chuckled at that, dropping his transformation as his body changed from the pink hue and long hair to the usual brown. "Yeah that's true. We shouldn't let the girls know that it happened though. They'd ground me forever."

"They'd ground both of us." Sasami said, rolling her eyes in annoyance. And they'd probably would, too, especially with how protective the girls are towards Sasami.

"Yeah they would. And then for good measure, saddle Philip and Ren to babysit us." said Negi, echoing the sentiment.

Sasami hung her head in defeat over that. "We're chosen to save the universe and we still get punished... just can't win, huh?"

"Nope. That's why we're the token kids on the place," said Negi, shaking his head.

"Yeah..." Sasami replied, stay silent for awhile...

..before bursting out laughing. "We shouldn't be this upset, should we? I mean...!"

Laughing as well, Negi shook his head. "Naw we shouldn't. It was a little thing anyhow."

"Right..."

Closing her eyes, Sasami thought for a minute. Watching Negi fight had made her realize something else. Something that he should see for himself.

"Hey, Negi-kun, check this out...!" she said, before holding out her hand and shouting "Blizzara!"

A split second later, Negi would be seeing a large piece of ice heading for him.

"Whoa!" Negi's arm separated from his body as he darted to the side instinctively, the arm reattaching itself with a zapping noise. "When did you learn that?"

Sasami giggled as she reached into her shirt and pulled out a small trinklet - a Wayfinder she and Aqua made.

"Aqua-neesan helped make this for me. When the two of us went down to get the Tapestry, she ended up using a spell on it." Sasami said. "I wasn't sure what it was until just now - I can use some of her spells!"

"Oh that is really something," said Negi, looking over the trinket. "It's kind of like a pactio but you get to share abilities?"

"It... seems like it. But, if that's the case, I wonder what Aqua-neesan has?" Sasami mused. "I really don't know what I can or can't do at the moment."

"Hmm, that makes me wonder, but I guess we'll find out sooner or later, right?" inquired Negi.

"Mmm, right! Though, I hope it isn't 'later'...!" Sasami said. A thought crossed her mind as she looked at Negi. "Say... you think we could see what I can do?"

"Sure why not? Want me to set up targets?" inquired Negi.

"That'll be great! Thanks!" Sasami said, letting the Sensoriums shift her clothes into the Barrier Jacket she got earlier.

"...I wish I could do this for real..."

"It still looks nice on you," remarked Negi, setting up several targets, some of them floating.

Sasami blushed a bit at Negi's compliment. "Thanks... I should show you the real thing - I got it hung up in my room."

As he sat up the targets, Sasami started to stretch a bit, just in case.

Nodding, Negi finished setting up the generic targets and stepped to the side. "Have at it. I'll watch!"

At once, Sasami went on the offensive, launching Blizzaga shots at certain targets. Feeling out another spell, she extended her staff then raised it up, shouting "Thundara!"

A moment later, Sasami found herself recoiling in shock as the lightning bolts struck around her, not at the targets.

"DAH!" Negi zipped around the lightning that crashed around her and came to a shaking stop. "Okay that's unexpected. I thought Thundera was supposed to hit the target, not everything around us?"

"Y-You mean this is different?!" Sasami yelped as the lightning came to an end. Frazzled, she dropped to her knees, shaking a bit, a look of complete shock on her face.
