How long had it been since Negi could truly cut loose? It had been quite a long time and Chamo and Barry were looking out for one another.

Stepping into the sensoriums, Negi looked over at the recreation of the Gravekeeper's Palace floating overhead. He could remember most of it, from regaining his memories of the attack that ruined the magical world and earth in a simultaneous blow, but stepping forward was Fate, the pale haired boy giving him a silent look.

The pair stared at each other for a long moment, and then seconds later, exploded into energy. Fists crashed against each others cheeks in a cross-counter as they skidded backwards.

"Come, Negi. Show me your plan." intoned Fate.

Negi grinned as his form changed, invoking his most powerful ability. His hair fanned out and became a long pink swathe of hair as his body glowed in a brilliant pink light as he shot forward, Fate coming to meet him in a devastating blow. The sound of violence could DEFINITELY be heard from behind the door in the sensorium, as the pair rained blow after blow down in a dizzying volley.

"Hmm... let's see..." Sasami thought, trying to feel out anything else. Almost on cue, two small magic orbs started to surround her, causing her to blink in confusion. "Ahh... I... have no idea what these are."

"They kind of look like shield orbs," remarked Negi, leaning in to look at one of them. "Not something I'm familiar with."

"...another defensive magic. Aqua seems to be more defensive than offensive." Sasami mused. "There's only other thing I can find, though - Cura!"

Almost at cue, a green hue surrounded Sasami, petals and leaves bursting forth. What she hadn't noticed was that her right arm and her outfit were healed, her not realizing she was lightly grazed by her earlier attack.

"Oh! A healing spell. That'll come in handy then." said Negi, grinning. "That is really nice."

"It is, isn't it?" Sasami said, nodding. "But... I have to wonder: is this all I can do? Surely it isn't, but it feels odd that's all I got..."

"I'm sure more powers will show themselves," replied Negi, nodding to himself. "There's probably a lot of stuff Aqua can do."

"You're right..." Sasami said, nodding. A few moments later, she shook with anticipation. "I gotta find out! I gotta know! Negi-kun, spar with me!"

"Really? All right then." Negi smiled at her, shaking out his shoulders and massaging his fingers a second. "Let's keep it at a good pace for you then."

With a nod, Sasami took back her staff and went into a stance. She let out a deep breath before she spoke up again. "When you're ready, Negi-kun."

"All right, here we go." And he darted forward to strike carefully, making certain to strike with measured attacks.

Sasami let out a small grunt as her staff went up to deflect Negi's attacks. It's still slightly off as she's still not used to it, but she's keeping up.

Throwing a couple more strikes, Negi varied it up with a couple of kicks.

Sasami combines using her staff to deflect the kicks with actively moving her head before starting to try to push forward with thrusts to his midsection.

Negi had got to stop underestimating his girlfriend as she pushed him back. He blocked repeatedly, stepping backwards carefully.

Sasami kept up the pressure, trying not to let herself get cocky in her movements. However, a few moments did appear that she was starting to get a bit sloppy.

"Tighten up your footwork," stated Negi, seconds into the counter attack as he pulled at Sasami's staff to throw her off balance. "You're overbalancing yourself."

"Woah!" Sasmi yelped as Negi grabbed at her staff. She lost her balance for a split second before recovering, barely stopping herself from faceplanting.

"Thanks. I'll remember that next time!" she said before trying to throw Negi away with her staff.

Negi grinned as he pushed himself back, skidding backwards as he threw himself forward again to clash again.

With Negi going back on the offensive, Sasami raised up her staff to start blocking his blows.

Negi struck out up high, moving in a smooth motion around to strike carefully.

Sasami blinked in surprise as Negi's attack went high. Once more her head moved to dodge the strike, her long, ponytailed hair swinging back and forth as she did.

Ducking down after the strike connected, he went in for a low sweep, hoping to knock her off her feet.

The sweep connected, sending Sasami stumbling. However, she brought her staff down on the ground and used it as a brace, kneeling as she recovered.

Stepping back a little to let her recover, Negi grinned. "Pretty good recovery!"

"Heh, thanks!" Sasami said, getting back to her feet, then striking out at Negi once more.
