The Open D/Meeting New People
It'd been a few days since Shoutarou put up the announcement about the Agency being open for business.
Granted, 'business' was a relative term on board Stacey, and given the general peaceful nature of the ship, Shoutarou didn't expect much - which was a good thing, as he hasn't gotten much. Or, well, anything so far.
He can only patrol so much, same with sitting in on brig folks - he can't hog all the shifts to stay busy. So for now, he's kicked back at his desk, feet propped up while he sips at a bit of coffee.
Someone should poke him before he starts to monologue to himself. He'll do it!

However, that was not a proper answer to the question posed. "Yeah, as well as 'for business' means here, anyway." Then a nod. "Yes, though it thankfully went better than expected."

He paused. "How did it feel to make your first arrests?"

"Yo, what's with the wacked headgear?" he says, looking at Shoutarou's fedora. Big words, coming from a guy with a cowl and goggles.

"Myself and my partner, who isn't in at the moment, we work together to do that, yes. We protected the city we lived in back home."

"Nice hat," she said, grunting as she leaned against the door. "So this is a d'tective agency. Whadd'ya do?"

Not that that was necessarily a bad thing. If nothing else the pyromancer respected her mother.
Even if the White Phoenix was soft-hearted.
"So d'ya get paid f'r this normally, or d'ya do it outta th'goodness of yer heart?"
no subject
"We usually ask that clients pay if they can, but I won't turn away someone who needs help if they can't pay."

"Slow day?" she asked, placing the bag of food down on the table and then went to relax down near the bed that was in the agency, her attention still on Shoutarou himself.

She threw the keys to the HardBoiler at him, sure about the decision she was making here.

With his face.
Then he catches them with one hand, fumbling them and rubbing his nose a bit. He looks at the keys, then back at Hoshi. "What's -this-, then?"

Sure, you've probably never seen him before. But there's just something about the way he's standing there. Stoic, any softer emotions masked behind a cynical expression. This whole aura of "don't ask me questions."
Yeah, he was one of those Riders.
"So you're Hidari," Ren said by way of greeting.
no subject
An eyebrow raises at the greeting, and Shoutarou lets his feet down, as well as places his mug down. "I am. Can I help you with something?"

He is tall, has impossibly taller orange hair, well muscled, and looks highly confused.
He saw the sign that said you find lost things.
"Hey, you the guy who finds lost stuff?"

"What I want is my World Champion back. And it's gotta be here." If it isn't, Wakka is going to die while looking for it.
no subject
"Ah..." Shoutarou makes a bit of a confused face, setting his feet down and leaning forward, putting his elbows on his desk. "As far as I know, if it wasn't in that locker, then we don't have it."

The file name for that picture is, perhaps, the best part
Oh god. xD
Wakka's great because with him -everything- is a ball joke
And with that icon, everything becomes HORRIBLY UNNERVING.
Fanart of Wakka comes in three flavors: bizzare/poorly drawn; moe; and well drawn bara porn.
Pffft. So will Shou actually find the ball, or is he off on a wild goose chase? =0
I think it should end with a "I found where it is, but I need a celestial mirror to get it??"
Pfff. How would Shou find out about the need for a mirror? xD
Mostly through the fact that "IT'S RIGHT HERE, I CAN'TGET IT WHAT" and then Wakka going "NOT AGAIN."
Pfffft. I figure after some period of time, he'll tag Wakka in another thread about finding it. B]
