The Open D/Meeting New People

It'd been a few days since Shoutarou put up the announcement about the Agency being open for business.

Granted, 'business' was a relative term on board Stacey, and given the general peaceful nature of the ship, Shoutarou didn't expect much - which was a good thing, as he hasn't gotten much. Or, well, anything so far.

He can only patrol so much, same with sitting in on brig folks - he can't hog all the shifts to stay busy. So for now, he's kicked back at his desk, feet propped up while he sips at a bit of coffee.

Someone should poke him before he starts to monologue to himself. He'll do it!

"Huh." Shoutarou takes some notes down, then shakes his head once. "Must take some good skills to kill things with a ball - even a ball covered in blades like that."

"You show me the fiend needs killin', I could kill it with this thing, ya," said Wakka as he spun the blitzball around on his finger. "Just take a little longer."

No, it makes no sense. Just go with it.

Shoutarou raises an eyebrow, but chuckles. "Well, I suppose that's one way to do it..." It makes more sense than getting superpowers from USB drives that you plug into your belt, anyway.

"Yeah, my way," said Wakka.

"So, how much does it cost for you to find stuff? All I got's this blitzball and my headband..." and if you think he's giving those up you're absolutely insane.

"Ah, there's not really an economy here on the ship that I can see, so I can't really ask for anything material. Maybe call in some kind of favor later, if that's alright with you? Like the old phrase 'you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours'?

"Alright, then. You find the World Champion, and I owe you a lot, ya."

Shoutarou nods and smiles. "I'll do what I can to find it."

"Thanks, bruddah," said Wakka. "You find it, you come find me."

He walked over to shake the man's hand. Shake his hand, Shoutarou.

"No problem, and will-do."

Shoutarou took the other man's hand, shaking it firmly.

I think it should end with a "I found where it is, but I need a celestial mirror to get it??"

Pfff. How would Shou find out about the need for a mirror? xD

Mostly through the fact that "IT'S RIGHT HERE, I CAN'TGET IT WHAT" and then Wakka going "NOT AGAIN."

Pfffft. I figure after some period of time, he'll tag Wakka in another thread about finding it. B]
