Down on the city level, right by the Kohaku River and near the imposing castle, a modern-looking white building welcomed one and all to its promise of running water and warmth. Maybe even a little socializing was in order.

The ramp led up to the heated roof level, where one and all could sit down and relax in an almost sauna-like environment. Below, corridors contained plenty of towels, places to leave clothes, quick showers, and the baths, a number of them sized for any and all comers.

The private areas were accessed through separate corridors on the outside, but the busier communal baths were just as warm and welcoming. Anyone of any size or species was welcome here, so long as they behaved themselves.

[ooc: it's mingling party post time! Just start a thread or hop in one, and note if your character's in a single sex bath, co-ed, or the sauna level upstairs. My characters will be here to meet some people too.]

Growing back to her big mode, she slipped in with a sigh. "Satella-chan, can I ask what your home was like?"

Satella looked at Rein for a few moments before looking back at the water in thought.

"It was just a normal world really... It seems it was the same earth as some of the people around here and yet... still different." She paused for a moment.

"Well it was normal... until the Novas invaded. We hardly knew anything about them other than they were from another dimension and were here to destroy our world."

"That's a admittedly familiar notion," said Rein, shaking her head. "What is it with earth getting attacked?"

"I have no clue... but in all the movies it's always the same... i guess they were just a glimpse of what was to come."

"It really must be a weirdness magnet," replied Rein.

"That, or there's more to earth than anyone ever knew... Regardless, it seems like we all failed in our task of protecting our own world and now we're given a second chance to rectify that."

And Satellizer was hell bent on doing just that. She wouldn't lose again!

"That's true, and some of us are fighting for whole universes too." Rein sighed. "Never ends does it?"

"Wars will never end. It seems to be in the nature of the majority of sentient beings... No matter if your race is peaceful, there will be another who will wage war at some point in your history."

"Yep. It's a vicious cycle, our people knew too well. But life goes on. You have to be strong." She smiled sadly at her.

That's something Satellizer took to heart. She'd sworn she'd never lose to anyone again. That she'd get stronger so she wouldn't have to bow down to a single soul ever... and yet her world got destroyed. It was a sour thought, and one that would haunt her for a while.

But it sure as hell wasn't going to deter her. She nodded at Rein in agreement, her eyes full of focus and drive.

Rein smiled at that. "We'll do this together then. Friends?"

There was that word again... She had once thought of some as friends. But she had been betrayed... By her sister in law... by fellow Pandora... by the instructors... even Aoi....

But it'd be rude to not reply, and the girl seemed sincere... It's not like they'd be around each other all the time considering she had a job, and the ship...city...thing... was so big. There wouldn't be any harm in it...

Satella finally nodded, "Friends then. I'm glad I got to meet someone like you miss Rein."

"Likewise." Replied Rein, grinning from ear to ear. "The same to you, Satella-chan."

Satella blushed and smiled, finally standing up while holding her towel in place. She gave a small bow before stepping out of the hot tub.

"I'll make sure to pass by your shop today if you don't mind miss Rein."

"Okay! I'll be in the baths for a while longer but either me or Rarity will be there most likely. Have fun!" exclaimed Rein, leaning back in the water.

It was hard enough to have met one person, she didn't need to meet someone else. Satellizer nodded, "I'll wait for your arrival then. Is there a way you could let me know when you'll be there miss Rein?"

"Sure I'll send you a message on the omnicom then," replied Rein. "I'll be done in a while anyhow, so it's not much of a wait."

Satella nodded in appreciation and smiled slightly before turning and heading to the lockers. There's she'd change and be on her way while she awaited the message. That should give her time to explore this area a bit more.
