Best Sleepover Ever
A good number of those affected by the clock had reached childhood, and required supervision. Several of the adults had offered to help, and no one was quite sure anymore who had first suggested it, but it was decided that one night, there should be a sleepover, something fun for the children. The idea had grown; Eva had offered Cassie's house, after getting permission from the other non-deaged resident, Aximili.
In the end, it turned out to be a packed house. There were about twenty children running around, and thankfully, there were five adults and two teenagers supervising. Luckily for Eva, she had made sure to childproof the house the best she could beforehand.
It was going to be needed.
[Planning post is here. HAVE AT. A description of Cassie's house is here, and if you have any questions about it, you can ask Lisa (Eva), Blue (Marco), Cait (Rachel) and Kaylin (Ax). Start up subthreads for stuff, and try not to wreck the place. :D; ]

Dinosaurs
There was quiet for a little while, during which Kon could be mistaken for a quiet, well-behaved little boy as he built up a little city out of blocks that had been scavenged from who knows where.
It was abruptly ruined by the boy standing up, looking at all his hard work, and then stomping around knocking down towers of blocks, letting out the loudest roar he could muster.
"RAAAAAAAR! I'm a Spinosaurus and I smell MEAT! Watch out little meat-children, 'cause I'm gonna eat you up!"
Watch out, other kids, he's a biter!
[ooc: do threads just with each other other this too.]

Karen was entirely too disconnected from the other kids on the ship. So when she someone who looked familiar, she rushed over. "Hi, Einhart! You're Einhart, right?" Then she glanced over at Vivio. "Are you friends?"

BEAR TIME
So, he was on all fours, lashing his tail and growling, chasing a group of them around the living room and pretending to be a bear. He was sure some of the other adults were laughing at him, but he didn't much care. He was enjoying himself, as were the younglings, and that was all that mattered at the moment.

"Stand back, citizens!" Conner said, standing on top of the couch, hands on his hips. "This is a job for Superman!"
There was a mighty jump, his red cape flaring, and he tried to tackle Kang, perhaps a little too roughly for play. He was getting a little too into it.

Re: BEAR TIME
When Kang eventually takes a break from playing bear, the young Scot finally pipes up with a question.
"What's it like, being a terrible beastie?"

Re: BEAR TIME
Rachel, despite having been a pretty normal girl until the age of 13, was one of the kids who was totally fine with it-- in fact, she was pretty enthusiastic.
Of course, she also wasn't doing much running.
Instead, she faced him head on, hands out. She'd stop him if it was the last thing she did. Or, you know, climb on him. That was fine too.

Eventually, once Kang seemed to be settling a bit, Kaylee cautiously made her way over to him and gave the edge of his skirt-thing a tug. "'Scuse me, but you're real tall..."

Re: BEAR TIME
Her eyes followed him everywhere, looking at him curiously. He wasn't like any bear she ever saw... but he looked like a dragon! Her eyes suddenly opened in wonderment as she ushered the words in awe, "A dragon bear~"
Possibly the coolest thing she's heard!

Re: BEAR TIME
At this very moment, she was Lash, Wunderkind Toreador! She had taken one of the blank sheets of paper in her little black book and made a very stylish hat out of it. One of the many blankets was now her weapon of war, and she was shaking it at Kang with a determined grin.
"I will defeat you, Mister Bear!"
Lash had read about Toreadors a long while ago and now her mind didn't remember all the fine details about it. You'd have to forgive her, Kang. Bears could be like Bulls, right?

Between that, he pocketed the keys and put the helmet on the cycle as he brushed his hair back a bit, rubbing his head before knocking on the door.

Most of the time you'd hear her humming a sweet little tune as she ate the lollipop she snatched from her own stash back at her house. She didn't want to be near the place at the moment, not with THAT there anyways.

Rory was on the couch, so that's where Conner flopped, wrapping himself in the cape like it was a blanket, and shoving a pillow up against the older man so he could lay there next to him.
Idly, he reached up for Rory's hand and pulled it towards his head, wordlessly telling him to pet his hair.

For the time being, she's attempting to piece together what looks like a miniature engine. It isn't as good as the one she built back home in her daddy's shop, but it's coming along pretty well for the materials she has. She's pleased enough with it that she's humming while she works, some fun, folksy song that her ma usually sings in the kitchen while she's making cornbread.

BLANKET FORT
Pillows had been used, too, to make piles in some of the rooms for laying on, as well as the cushions from the couch. Stuffed animals were everywhere. Flashlights had been found as well, to provide lighting. An inflatable mattress had even been added to the mix, as the floor in one room; clearly, several of the children planned on sleeping in the thing overnight.
[GO FOR IT.]

Satisfied that all of the corners were tucked away and that none of the heavier cushions holding blankets were going to fall, Kaylee crawled happily into the closest entrance, and quickly settled on the first fluffy pink pillow she saw.

But, that didn't mean that he just ignored his mom either. After running around the house a bit, he come back to Eva and started tugging on her pants. "Mom, Mom!" he said, tugging insistently. "Knock knock!"
Okay, so apparently his sense of humour hadn't quite developed fully at this age...

Still, how many knock-knock jokes can she take before her laughter turns from polite chuckling to edge-of-a-psychotic-break manic?
"Who's there?" she asks, doing her best to mask the weariness.

She was a little late to the whole party, mostly because Sherry had fallen asleep on Leon while animatedly talking to him about a Dr. Suess book she'd been reading that afternoon. So, a little lost, and a little bit closer to five than she really needed to be, the little girl let go of her father's hand and shuffled into the house.
"I! Am late!" she announced loudly, and put her hands on her hips.

She still looked...her-ish. Just younger.
That exclamation alone should've given away who he was.

"Wanna hear a joke?" Marco said, suddenly popping up behind the couch out of nowhere. "I've got this really good one about...hey, what are you watching?" he tilted his head, momentarily distracted by the unfamiliar movie.

Afro Kids need to be shoved around
Lash threw cheerybombs in the toilets and blew up the farm.Early life for Lash had been interesting. From what she remembered anyway. When most younger Orange Star kids were learning their alphabet and going to school, Lash had already developed a taste for working weapons of mass destruction. It got her noticed. She liked being noticed. It was a fun game.
But this was different. Slowly but surely she had recorded her memory being chipped away, with a suddenly shift to years during the last few days. Her book had become a sort of keepsake which she kept near her at all times, sometimes shifting in it and writing a word or two. As she grew younger, the writing became less and less mature. Crude drawings began to fill gaps between words and bursts of anger at how she should be remembering things, quickly noted between "tee hee hee Ron smells and has cooties" and other fine literature works. She was eleven now, still young enough to have heard about the idea of a sleepover and wanting to join in by idle curiosity, still completely confused at what she should do apart from clutch the black book close to her chest. Black Hole didn't do slumber parties or masses of kids together being happy.
"This is sooo dumb," she muttered to no one, even if her body language betrayed her. "These are not real games." Maybe later she'd make her own games. Why wasn't she leaving? Even Lash didn't know why. Or maybe a deeper part of her did.
Even at a young age, Lash wanted to belong.
No they don't! :O
"What'cha doiiin'?" she asked curiously as she eyed Lash. She remembered the girl from work, and that last encounter... when she was bigger? Was she bigger? She'd have to go check her sketchbook later to find out. In the meantime Lash seemed like someone she wanted to be with at the moment.

He sat himself in one of the corners, looking a bit sulky, then began to arch his neck around as he wondered if (and where) food might be served. Swiping something to eat was certainly an appealing option to him at the moment.
