Welcome To The First Tree Cafe!
After typing up her message, Sasami sat back at her little counter and waited to see who would come up to see her and have a meal or two.
Between finding out that most of the stuff in her restaurant wasn't useful, the attack by KAIN and the subsequent reveal of her true self and the slight relaxation moment after getting everything on XaXing, Sasami hadn't had the time to open up her shop. Now, after all that time, Sasami finally had a moment to finish up and open up the newly-christened First Tree Cafe. If anything, she wanted a place to show off her cooking skills and give some of the crew some good meals here and there. Hopefully, those who aided her recently would come back to keep helping her.
As of now, all Sasami could do is sit and wait...

Midna floated her way right in, settling near the counter. "Hey! See you got things set up!"

"So, what's on the menu, anyway?"

Tapping a foot on the ground, Snow looked around the tiny shop. Cute and comfortable, he liked the atmosphere.

She should have figured Snow would show up, though.

"All right, I said I'd do this," Mindy said, trying to sound casual. "What can I help you with, Princess?"
no subject
"Oh, um... well, it would probably help if we had a few things ready to go, don't you think? Just in case?"
no subject
She nodded. "Yeah, of course. What did you have in mind?"

The (very) tall blond, who had wandered and took in some sights along the way (because he was still getting used to the city as well), finally found the place. He poked his head in slowly to see if anybody else was in there.
"Hey, I think I found it!"

"Oh, hello there!" she called out, waving a bit.

"Sasami? I need a little help," he said. "Any idea what to feed this guy besides peanut butter and jelly?"
This was Devlin's first pet, and he was a little overwhelmed by the responsibility. And the fact that he had no idea what amphibious little aliens from Pisciss ate other than "whatever tastes good." Given that Devlin was twelve and all the cooking skills he had were "peanut butter and jelly sandwiches," that had become a problem fast.
"He's been eating so many of them that Negi's been calling him Pudge," he said. "At least, I think that's why he calls him that. But you've got Ryo-Ohki. What do you do?"
no subject
"Oh, dear...!" Sasami uttered, stepping out to see the two. "Ah, that's a good question. Looks like a fish, but I don't have any fish food. And in Ryo-Ohki's case..." Ryo-Ohki ate carrots. It could probably eat anything, but it loved carrots, so...
"Hmm... ah... what do fish eat?"
Yeah, she had nothing.

"I tried the mess hall slop, but unless it tasted like PB&J, it wouldn't touch it. Not that I blame it, though..."

Figuring the place was going to be busy, he settles in comfortably, feet up on a second chair while he waits to see who is about, and what's on the menu.

"Hello, is there something I can help you with?"

She unslung the tray from under her arm; she'd carefully peeled the rubbery layer meant for sticking pins into from the bottom, and cleaned it. "So, I thought I'd try and cheer them up, with your help. What would you recommend as snacks for a bunch of very busy doctors, nurses, and medical admins?"

Sasami's announcements had definitely caught her attention. The size of the meals would not be a problem, even if she had to continue her unpleasant supplements, so long as it was but one portion of her overall intake. And more importantly, remind her that she could enjoy good food here.
Naturally, she found the café easily -- there was a meal that did not involve mysterious goo, after all -- and poked her head in. It seemed open, but she did not want to be rude if things were still being prepared.

"Hello there!" she called out, a smile on her face. "Can I help you with something?"
