After typing up her message, Sasami sat back at her little counter and waited to see who would come up to see her and have a meal or two.

Between finding out that most of the stuff in her restaurant wasn't useful, the attack by KAIN and the subsequent reveal of her true self and the slight relaxation moment after getting everything on XaXing, Sasami hadn't had the time to open up her shop. Now, after all that time, Sasami finally had a moment to finish up and open up the newly-christened First Tree Cafe. If anything, she wanted a place to show off her cooking skills and give some of the crew some good meals here and there. Hopefully, those who aided her recently would come back to keep helping her.

As of now, all Sasami could do is sit and wait...

"Yeah I know its weird," Mindy said, casting her a look, "But its not like I have anything better to do, The Overlord is doing that retarded ass Council crap and I can't find Ruff,and I'm sick of doing nothing but training. I figure I can at least help cook."

She nodded. "Yeah, of course. What did you have in mind?"

"Heh... I understand." Sasami said, smiling warmly at Mindy. Poor girl, though. Everything going crazy and she can't take it.

"Ahh... well, um... can I admit something? I... don't know how to make... simple foods. Like, well... hamburgers."

More like everything going crazy and it annoyed the shit out of her. How was she going to get any work done with people and their retarded ass missions anyway, affecting their brains or whatever?

Mindy gave her a look. "Are you serious? That shit is easy to do, so long as its not, like, outdoors, then it gets trickier, though it tastes better. Don't bother asking me for outdoor stuff though, I'm a city girl. But I can take care of burgers, meats, chicken, hell even fish, so long as you have the cooking platform for it."

Sasami's grin went into a sheepish one. "Well, I'm so used to cooking more healthier meals back home, so doing something like that is, well... a little out of my range."

Seriously, the girl doesn't cook meat. This is bad!

"Well, we're all about crap food where I come from, not that having meat will kill you: plenty of protein in it. Kinda surprised you don't cook it, to be honest. But hell, I'll teach you: I owe you that ANd a lesson is self defense. Then again, you have goddess powers and stuff, so you might not need it at this point."

"Well... if you want to, okay...!" Sasami said. Though, hearing her mention about her powers made her feel a bit insecure. "Hey, now... just because I have those powers doesn't mean I know how to use them or that I'm unstoppable. I'm not!"

"Sure, why not? Overlord's busy with his stupid council crap and I haven't seen Chase in a little while. How often are you gonna have this place open?"

Mindy made a face. "Nobody said you were unstoppable, but I figure if you can go and call down goddess powers, you might wanna learn how to use them before you learn something like self defense. That might be exactly what you need to fight against the Ohm. For that you'd, I dunno, meditate or cross the astral plane or whatever, right?"

Obviously Mindy herself was unsure how Goddess powers worked.
