After typing up her message, Sasami sat back at her little counter and waited to see who would come up to see her and have a meal or two.

Between finding out that most of the stuff in her restaurant wasn't useful, the attack by KAIN and the subsequent reveal of her true self and the slight relaxation moment after getting everything on XaXing, Sasami hadn't had the time to open up her shop. Now, after all that time, Sasami finally had a moment to finish up and open up the newly-christened First Tree Cafe. If anything, she wanted a place to show off her cooking skills and give some of the crew some good meals here and there. Hopefully, those who aided her recently would come back to keep helping her.

As of now, all Sasami could do is sit and wait...

"Hmm... fruits and sweets, huh?" Sasami mused. She did have a few cakes prepared that might do the trick...

Walking off for a moment, she return with something simple? "Carrot cake okay?"

She just hoped Ryo-Ohki wasn't around...

"Never had it, but sure." Cake sounded good. Cake sounded very good.

Cutting Midna a piece of cake and giving her a fork, Sasami stepped back and waited to see how she'd enjoy it.

"Hope you like it!"

Midna took the fork up in one delicate hand, taking a small piece of cake for an initial test. She brightened visibly as she tasted it, savoring the treat.

"Hey, this is pretty good! Not too bland, not too sweet. You've got some talent!"

Sasami let out a happy gasp as Midna enjoyed the meal.

"Y-You really do? Really? Oh, thank you...!"

"W-hey, no need to get so worked up about it. I wouldn't say it if it weren't the truth." She ate another forkful of cake, chewing happily. "About sweets, I don't lie!"

She didn't, did she? Midna was pretty sure she didn't.

"You weren't doubting yourself were you?"

"Oh, no, I wasn't worried about doubting myself." Sasami reassured. "I wanted to make sure that everyone could enjoy my meals!"

Midna polished off the last of the cake, twirling the fork around with her fingers. "Well, why wouldn't they? Here's my prediction: you're going to be the most popular person on the ship."

I mean, sure, you could eat food in the Sensoriums, but it wasn't really the same, was it?
